I used to work in this weather, making concrete I-Beams for United Precast...I moved to Arkansas....these people down here would demand FEMA rescue them from that storm....lol
Yes, I hear it will start with ice, then potentially 3 to 6 inches by mid day and then another 3 to 6 inches in the evening or later. I have a close friend who works for our township and he has the plow ready to roll...guessing it will be a long weekend for him.
anyone ready for the snow storm on 2-5-10 ?? I have been listening to my scanner I'm gonna charge the batteries, I also have a CB radio and a cell phone also just in case. I live out by Newark and I drive to Hilliard for work every day.
my dad works for the vermilion township only 2 people are on the road department and they have about 50 miles to plow, and each road is at least 3 miles apart.
we got hit hard too we was without power for a week the only house on our block without power and our car was crushed by a tree... they called a Federal State of Emergency
How, cool, Sam! Just for the record for your viewers, Sam is using Technology to his advantage--safely--with his oh very cute little Fujitsu. Sam, slow down!!!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Mt. Vernon is a beautiful town, especially after a fresh layer of snow. I grew up in Mt. Vernon (1970's) and learned how to drive on those very roads. Thanks!
Sam, looks like a fun trip heading to the office! You could have a future in Alaska real estate. Currently we are having threats of one of our volcano's erupting, will have to wait and see.
on this day i walked acrost the gravel pit with my midget friend

Glad you are driving slow and being safe!
The hard working agents are always "showing up" while the others are staying home. Sam Miller works in rain, snow, sleet and hail!!
