I was 1 year from graduating NROTC and then off to flight school when this movie came out. 1 year later I got my orders and the Navy sent me to SEAL school. I was heart broken over not getting a seat and I must have played this tune 1000 times in reflection of my missed dream

I'm 44 now and lived a life beyond many of my wildest dreams after that. I'm semi-retired and yes it does mark you for life. I went through ROTC with a buddy that I went to school with from the 4th grade through college (LSU). He was 1 year ahead of me and wound up flying A-6's. So many ironies. That plane was intro'ed into the fleet in 1963...the same year he was born. He was the last to fly the A-6 as they decommissined them sometime in the early 90's. What did you wind up doing Aerospartan?

Well, I didn't manage to get in the Airforce academy, I was extremelly disapointed. But I managed to get a pilots license for ultralight aircrafts. I shaw an ultraligh flying above me one day, when in university and I thougt "thats a sighn for me". So I finally managed to learn to fly.

Not all the songs in the soundtrack are played full in the movie! some of em is just used in a short period like 2-4 seconds. if they need a silent background voice singing "Oh oh ohoh"
