He's based in SF and just had his cast off from ankle surgery, so he celebrated by going ballooning; he always been high energy! Keeg's friend, Rick McCrank has a company called Girl skateboards; he really wanted Keegan to join, but Keeg was really keen to go with Zero. Keeg began travelling with Cherry Bomb skateboards which, well, bombed, then Real picked him up and sent him of to Paris & London in his mid teens, and he's been travelling ever since he was 16. Oh, what a life! Are you heading for Am status or pro? Keep on trucking.

@girlMccrail Well, you know the old saying, "Practise Makes Perfect"; the more you practise, the better you get. When Keeg began skateboarding at age 11, he'd start with one trick and practise it over and over, before he went onto the next trick, and then he'd combine them, and practise with such gusto, I knew he wouldn't finish school; I knew he was destined for a skateboarding career. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Keep on skating if it's your passion, your dream.

It's bits and pieces, a patchwork quilt, which I personally find more interesting. The last bit is in San Francisco. I live DownUnder & see Keeg often; hoping hubby and I can get over there. Am and pro skateboarders see places the rest of us dream about or see on the telly! It's a great life, except for the bails and ocassional surgeries, lol.

Keegan has been skateboarding for 19 years now; he makes it look easy, but man, it's a lot harder than it looks. When he began at 11, he'd practise one trick to death before going onto the next, and then he'd put it altogether; having excellent balance and coordination sure helped. He rode a unicycle down hill to his grandma's house when he was about 12, shocked us all! A real dare devil and athlete. I think skateboarding should be considered an olympic extreme sport.

I never know where my son, Keeg, is going to be; he's all over the place. He was in Victoria a while ago, so you never know. He might show up with a team or just to visit his niece and nephew. He usually skates the Vic West Skate Park. I'm glad they made it so much larger; it was too small before. Hope he shows; I'll ask him if RVCA, Vans, Zero or Spitfire are planning anything for Canada. He was in Australia with Vans and I got to see him; I married an Aussie.
