Can you imagine how Mary felt when her Son was going through all of this? A mother's heart is still a mother's heart. Her Son was born for great things but to her, she had a fantastic love for Jesus. Even though she knew her heart would be pierced with a sorrow so devastating that she cried to the Heavens when Jesus died, He was still her Son.

@gracelikerain59 Nobody really understood, not until his death and resurrection. Even Peter needed the Holy Spirit to reveal him that Jesus was the Messiah, and even then he still denied Him three times. I believe very few people in their lifetime really get to understand the consequences of believing -or not believing, for that matter- in Jesus as the Saviour. Thank God for Faith, He understand us and has give us every chance for us to be saved.

@sakers1019 yes it's true that ever stripe on his back was for all our disease but the thing is jewish law say you may only whip 39 lash's if you did forty then you have to be whiped afterwards but the roman's did not count how many time you could whip some one and the roman's and they had peices of bone metal and nails atached to there whip a normal person would die at the whiping post but he did not give up till had done the fathers will on the the cross when he gave up his spirit

My God how can i see this and not cry.My only daughter on 9/21/2008 Drs told me she only had 1 hr to live and not even a lung transplant would save her.And U my Lord U restored her lungs that the Drs were amazed.
