  • does the canon xm2 shoot in natural 16:9?

  • Is it possible to record in 16:9? Ps nice video

  • I've used the camera "CANON XM2" for my school projekt in June and I think the camera for 4000 € is very good. The sound quality is also good and it was very easy to transfer the video by firewire on my PC. In this video I learned how to use this camera and when I lend the camera, was it very easy. Thank you for this video!

I think it were much better, when the camera in 16-9 films not in 4-3 an the screen of the camera is a littlebit smaller, than the real video, but the camera is also good!

  • cant you zoom in with the actual lens, or do you have to use the buttons provided ?

  • what is the link where you buy them i only can find a canon xm2 about 2000 euro's

    thanx

  • I need help! Can you capture video to Adobe Premier using a USB cable or does it have to be a Firewire cable?

  • Dose this camcorder take cards, such as SD and XD and if so what one?

    Thank you :)

  • Is this a Manfrotto Video-Kit 501 HD Stand ??

  • canon xm2 and canon gl2 are the same, right? sorry for the dumb question, very new to the whole video production/shooting thing.

  • Need help...I have my xm2 set up the same as you, but after my shooting and go to upload to computer I find my captured shots are blury but I hold the camera steady or on my tripod..can you tell me what i'm not doing or doing wrong..steady shots are ok, but moving shots I get blur..any suggestions??? thank you

  • why cant i use sony tapes?

  • The Sony brand of mini dv tapes tend to use a wet lubricant on the tape as opposed to Dry lubricant used by many other brands like panasonic. Sony it seems is the only brand that does this. When wet and dry tapes mix they form a glue and this can lead to dropouts. If you use sony then stick to them and don't mix brands.

  • thanks.

  • agree with robcx9998, I've used Sony tapes for years on the XM2 and never had a problem. Might be nice to explain why you say 'no Sony tapes'

  • nice tripod

  • Hi, You mention not to use Sony tapes. I tend to use the HD Sony tapes and they seem to be fine. Do they affect the heads or winding mechanism ?

Great informative video. More please. many thanks. Rob.
