Led Zeppelin is Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and John Bonham... Jason Bonham would be the only exception to replace one of the members since it is John Bonham's son, he shares more than just the passion for playing drums and did a great job in 2007 anyway. If you are going to get rid of Robert Plant and add Steven Tyler or Chris Cornell or Dave Grohl than it is no longer Led Zeppelin. It is those people playing the music of Led Zeppelin, even if JPJ and Page are in the band.

Its so silly when people argue about things that are pure opinion... both Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith are bands of hugely talented musicians, but when it comes right down to it, which one is better is just everyone's personal preference. I don't believe a person's genius comes in amounts, but in different forms.

LZ's got something more - they haven't been LZ since 1980 before Bonham died & their influence, as w/ Pink Floyd is huge; they're top album sellers still. I think LZ is more musically sophisticated in several ways, but I like AS's unique style in the 70s too.
