This dude nailed the problem right on the head.........all this talk about electronic medical records is just the government's way of spending hundreds of billions of our tax dollars on fancy acronyms (HIT, ONC, etc) and fooling all of us into thinking things will get better when they will only get worse and worser until it's just a BIG PILE OF USELESS SHIT........
I don't whether to laugh because it is funny and witty, or cry because the government has made this problem such a mess when the vendors for Health Information Systems (HIS) were doing just fine with HIT before the HITSP as part of the HITECH... oh crap. They sucked me in.

The vendors were doing just fine- the doctors are not. The medical record is supposed to be about patients, not billing codes.
That said, I hold little hope that the current intervention will make it better.
