I had this problem as well, this is why a did a search for this... It just went out of the screen, inside the border of my monitor somewhere. Let's hope it stays there... I was like wtf...

I suppose you could ride it out until it dies or leaves-there can't be much in there to eat :) just hope if he dies he doesn't stick to the screen, else you'd have to call for repairs or just live with it ( I wouldn't recommend opening it yourself there could be parts that hold a charge for a while even when it's unplugged )

i do not know how the hell this one got in my laptop screen, it's the same as in the video which looks slimy and thin but now it has walked off screen and hopefully doesn't make babies

I had one under my screen last year but lukily he walked off and died off screen.

I have another one rite now,he just walked off screen too! lol

I think they love the warmth of the screen,so its best to leave ure monitor off and hope he wonders off somewhere else.

I had 4 dead bugs just like this one all over in my samsung monitor. It wasn't within the warranty so i had to get them out myself somehow... and with succes :)

It was quite some operation. All i did was taking part for part lose until i could seperate the LCD backlight from the TFT screen. There i could remove the 4 dead bugs. Ofcourse i had a high risk of breaking something but i realy couldnt live with the bugs inside my screen. The operation took me about 3 hours (because i didn't know what i was doing). I hope i could help you a bit :) cheers
