He failed his mission, for Mario landed and the Yoshis shunned their capitalist culture: becoming worker drones of equal rank (when before, the Green Yoshi used to be leader) and dismantling the free-market cookie based economy in favor of universal rationing that made it so no Yoshi could have more than 6 eggs at any one time.

Second, the melodies are also quite similar -- which is actually where the idea for this video came from. Which is a joke video, by the way. Third, you don't have to be all up in my face; I'm not calling your Uncharted Winds tune "Soviet Propaganda" just because you used a very similar progression, so calm down brah.

Secondly, similar melodies do not necessarily mean "Propaganda", because the music itself can't really point to such a specific idea. I mean, just because a song uses a Canon progression doesn't mean that it is praising Pachelbel or anything. Third, Uncharted Winds uses a descending scale progression (i.e. I-V6-IV6-I6/4) that ends with a V->V, which is quite different from Canon.
