I find it laughable that Obummer and his cronies used to crow that Bush went to war for oil but now with this 'intervention' into Libya no one is saying a thing about oil.

Lulz at white house claiming they're stepping aside. The French and British are acting like the top dogs, but its the US military doing all the blowing up, the Canadian CF-18s are just keeping the carriers warm. Qaddafi has over $30 billion in assets just in the US(which have been reported and confiscated, who knows how much more). Real money is worth a lot more than imaginary derivatives, enough said.
@traderbund Lol? Isn't it kinda obvious? The British SAS (Black Ops) themselves were spotted in Libya and captured even before this bombing campaign. Now, I don't know about WW3 and doubt it. If anything this will keep the markets up. Notice this invasion occurred on just about the same date the Iraqi invasion is, like the Romans said, if you wage war, wage it during March, the month of the Roman War God Mars.

@dm1133 Your best bet would be to go for the E&P oil guys. But beware that just as fast as they'll run with oil, they'll fall faster than oil.
