  • So why don't be unforgiven

  • they were right, she acts like shit

  • ....maybe it's the other way around. Maybe it's WHO YOU ARE that defines what you do.

  • Behind every great man there's a great woman- Winston Churchill

  • @MrMellish50 Our actions are dictated by our paradigm. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we act out of a result of who we see ourselves as. The problem we all experience is that we have a fundamental misunderstanding of who we really are, thus our constant efforts to define who we are and who we are to become. When we decide who it is we truly wish to be, we begin the slow and long process of walking it out. Our actions begin to align with our new paradigm over time. It's a process.

  • and then he went "it's what I dooooooooooooooooooo, that defines me. I'm Batman"

  • Best Quote in The Dark Knight: /watch?v=_10pSWH9g3Q

  • I disagree. We are defined by who we are, not what we do.

  • @jalyias I dont want to come off as rude, but I find I disagree with you. If I offered an argument that tightened your logic a little, would you read it seriously?

  • @jalyias then what defines who you are if its not what you do?

  • She always knew.

  • Bale loved The Batman comics and they figure he was the bvest man for the job and so Do I.

  • @ShorthandOfEmotion Dont need to, Batman Begins is great, and i loved the idea of exposing how Bruce became Batman. Simply put, what i'm saying is ... in fact, see EGarrett01's first comment, because i feel the same. Bale is just not credible enough for the tortured Bruce. That 's my personal opinion though.

  • She is such a terrible actress. Not even a hint of "organicness "

  • Patrick BATEMAN, is BATMAN aswell. :)

  • god katie holmes blows

  • Maggie Gyllenhaal was a better Rachel. Had better chemistry with Christian Bale.

  • Don't get me wrong, i love Nolan's Batmans, but i prefer Burton's Batman's personality; Keaton is not a bulky Batman, but he is a complex Batman. Nolan's Batman realism on how Wayne trained and got all his equipment is really great, but i also appreciate Burton's idea of a shady Batman who draws his strength from his sorrow and past. Moreover, the scene at the beginning when they are in the warriors'room suggests Wayne had gone around the world to learn from different cultures how to fight.

  • @Donkishottomfg where do you think bruce got the strength to train.... "my anger outweights my guilt".. learn your stuff before you cut down the best comic book movie series out there.

  • @Donkishottomfg

I'm with you. Nolan's films are great despite Bale, not because of him. Bale is too happy for me. He doesn't give me the impression of someone who's obsessed or dark or important. He worked well as Patrick Bateman because Bateman's shallowness made him ironic and funny as a serial killer. Batman is not ironically disturbed. He's genuinely a tortured hero. Even when he's happy, he's not REALLY happy. Actually, I think the animated series voice-actor does this perfectly.

  • @EGarrett01

Batman is too happy? What? Did we watch the same film? Please elaborate on that.

I'm pretty sure Keaton's Batman is more 'happy' than Bale's. Also, I like how you say that Batman is a tortured hero, and then say the animated series had the best Batman; because he wasn't a tortured hero in the animated series!

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids

I said BALE acts too happy. I said the VOICE ACTOR in the animated series does a good job of being a guy who has an undercurrent of darkness to his personality even when he's pretending to be Bruce Wayne.

  • @EGarrett01

If Bale's Bruce Wayne acts too happy, then his Batman is the best, since no one will suspect the happy, partying Bruce Wayne for Batman.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids

If that's the case then hire Carrot Top. No one would suspect him at all.

  • @EGarrett01

That could work, if he could pull off Batman as well.

  • @EGarrett01

    lmao!epic line!

  • sengh 0:23

  • bruce got pwned!!!

  • It almost seems like he's struggling not to tell her what he's *really* been up to, but in the end he realizes that he'd better not let anyone - even Rachel - suspect a thing. Bruce is well-known for going to extreme lengths to keep his identity a secret, even risking his life by refusing to use his skills as Bruce Wayne, so maybe we can interpret this as kind of the beginning of that. ^_^;

  • "The city needs a batman... always"

  • Loved all the Batman movies. Every single one. Each was perfect in its own way. But Batman Begins made it personal. Now I care. I'm invested =)

  • The only thing that sucks about Christian Bale being Batman is him disguising his voice.. it kinda sucks. GO BATMAN AND SUPERMAN!!!!!!

  • It's not who I am underneath. But what I doooooooo that defines me. lol I laughed so hard when I heard batman say that.

  • @KickAss8500 yeah, and why he disguised his voice, if the i am Bruce was implicit, he was saying like, im bruce with that funny voice

  • @KickAss8500 lol same here it cracks me up but at the same time its fucking epic

  • @KickAss8500. LMFAO!!! sooo fuckin true lmfao!! ROFL..."But what i DOOOooooo that defines me"...SHIT! so fuckin funny...LOL!!

  • Better than The Dark Knight

  • "Sure I do, I like Comic books too"--The Bruce Deeuoukayeey

  • #OMG

  • wow luv him

  • that bastard stole my quote.says woman

  • Perfect quote. To bad we live in a society where most people think that it's there words that define them. Actions speak a hell of a lot louder than words.

  • you're talking to Batman bitch!

  • @masondarko lmao!

  • maybe Bale is not the best Batman but i think he's the best Bruce Wayne ;)

  • @Buli0n Well I think he's the best batman, George Clooney was George Clooney dressed up in the batman mask and micheal keaton i guess was alright, but I kinda feel that Bale takes it to a better level.

  • @Buli0n definitely agreed....I think Bale is definitely the best Bruce Wayne, and on par with Keaton's Batman

  • @Buli0n *Shakes your hand vigorously* Yes yes. I agree with you a hundred percent. When I try to explain that Bale is my favorite BW but not my favorite Batman, people always shoot me a look and say, "Aren't they the same thing?" To which I scream "NO!! It's not the same effing thing!!"

And then they shoot me another look and walk/run away :-(

  • @angelisoncrack i think that CB is also the best batman because he is kinda real to me..

no super fighting moves...no flying...nothiing too much

a simple man with a suit and a brave heart.

but he IS the BEST BW :P

  • @kogiama YES i totally agree with you even though i havnt seen any other batman movies. The thing that he isnt to mutch is what defines him to be the best batman, It is a very good movie! better then the second one in my opinion.

  • @Buli0n better than george clooney

  • @thridkazekage300 lol george clooneys batmans voice was his normal voice

  • @nameless12345 which made it suck every other batman did something with there voice u know

  • @Buli0n the batman voice is the shit

  • @Buli0n

He's the best playboy. But the tortured Bruce ? Huh...not so well...

  • @Buli0n sorry mate, but Micheal Keaton IS both the best Batman and Bruce Wayne. Physically though, Wale has more arguments, but keaton has more depth.

  • @Donkishottomfg what? keaton? never found him good bruce ;| people saying that tim burton's movies are like watching comic books, i disagree, bruce in comics is a playboy and womanizer, keaton looks more like a sissy, and batman fighting skills in burton's movies are doubtful.

  • @Buli0n I must disagree with all you've said except indeed Bale looks more like a womanizer than Keaton only if we understand womanizer as someone at the same time superficial, if not, then Keaton is also a womanizer, and then i prefer his style : just take the beginning of Burton's 1992 Batman when Wayne sees for the first time Kim Basinger; at the very first glance he knew he had to go to her and have her ! And Wayne is not pretending he's a womanizer beacause, he is . In a more subtle way.

  • @Donkishottomfg heh... i have different feeling, i see a virgin who doesn't know how to pick a woman, and he has this creepy rapist glare...

  • @Buli0n We didn't see the same film.

  • Tim Burton's Bruce Wayne is very careless, Vicky Vale and Selina Kyle didn't need much time to figure out Batman's identity, he even shows himself to Shreck ;/ as i said also his fighting skills are doubtful - no training, killing(sic!), drinking with Selina etc. Nolan's Batman doesn't do stuff like this, Burton's movies are great Batman experience, climatic and dark, full of details, with this raw feeling, watching Keaton as a Bruce isn't bad, but i can't see his pain and "playboy's mask".

  • @Buli0n Let's forget the second Burton's Batman, Burton himself said he disapproved of what he did with this film, his having a tight schedule to direct it had some responsability in it. As for the first film, as far as i remember Vicky Vale did not figure out he was Batman since it is Alfred who introduces her into the secret room. Burton's Batman may be killing, but he did not turn himself in deliberately as Bale does in the clip of this page.

  • @Donkishottomfg yes, alfred showed her batcave... i was so dissapointed, how can you be so careless? im asking again, don't get me wrong, i love this movie( batman 1989) much, but it's different batman experience. and seriously, when i hear "batman" i think about Jim Lee's drawings, and Kevin Conroy's voice ;)

  • @Buli0n (Sorry i thought of this clip youtube.com/watch?v=PmwLPU5H6_Q&feature=related). (in my second comment i made a mistake, i was thinking of the 1989 Burton's film, not 1992's). Alfred is not careless, it is his will that Bruce get a woman and settle down, so he does not get kill i guess. You can notice that earlier in the film.

  • @Buli0n Well, what do u think : a billionare dresses as a bat at night sure has issues... lol

  • @Buli0n My thoughts exactly

  • @Buli0n He's the best Batman! Ru kidding? If not him then who? MIchael Keaton to me is a distant 2nd. You can't have great Bruce Wayne without Batman and vice versa. They come hand in hand.

  • @Buli0n Keaton is the best Bruce Wayne. If somebody told you Bale was batman you will say. Oh yeah I suppose. He was acting strange like he is hiding something.

And Keaton.... there were even petitions to take him out of the cast. ppl cant imagine he is Batman. Perfect.

  • @Buli0n IS THE BEST BATMAN DUDE!

  • @Buli0n bale is the best batman and bruce, who doesnt like him. would you rather prefer cloony?

  • @Buli0n I agree about he being the best Bruce Wayne, but come on who is the best batman in your opinion, Michael Keaton, George Clooney maybe that guy from Batman Dead End is the best one.

  • man I love that quote

  • it's not who you underneath, but what you do, that defines you. - by Rachel

at least that word have been made by Rachel Dawes not by Bruce Wayne,!

  • Yes. Wishes and dreams are necessary. Actions brings the results for which one will be remembered.
