I have a question: Why don't the women dance at your celebrations? The Torah is clear that the women danced and played the timbrels as they left Egypt. It is an expression of Faith to our Most High...a release of emotions to HIM. Why just men?
the women dance at the "Ezrat Nashim" - the women side of the wedding. if you would see that footage, you will ask why aren't the man dancing in our weddings?
silvernaor is right the women danc eon a separate floor very close to the men but separated by a kind of wall or something.like in the shul they stay separate.even me as a romanian ortodox(christian) i stay on the left hand side in the church as men r staying on right fromnt
The Woman dance all the time, they just do it separately for modesty sake. If you look you will also find many places were the Torah says a man and a woman should be modest.
I would not criticize or single out Chabad. In fact, Chabad is the only hasidim sect I relate to in many levels.
My background is Sepharadim from Spain.
To me these sects are only about memorizing without much purpose and very nerdishly the midrash or Torah or talmud or "stuff written by someone without a life", but we need to drill down to simple manners, personal cleanliness and hygiene, not to add the fanatical approach by which they label other jews who dont follow their messianic ways.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
all of chabad is gentile including the messianic and non messianic sects.
hasidism is a recently invented religion and has many pagan elements in its extensive use of witchcraft eg swinging chickens over peoples heads.
