Aww i remember my suprise horse!!! My instuctor had just got 3 horses to sell and he told me to hold the littlest one that had a half blue eye and then he said do you like i said yes and he said well she is yours:D

That is the best!!!!! i am sorta in the same situation...my best buddy chief is being sold the only difference is, although i get lessons twice a week and help out every other day, i dont get to keep him:( he is....ively...haha well actually he has bucked me off once, one time i fell off on my own account, and he has also run from a girl tha was trying to put his bridle o then proceeded to step on my foot and break it :o i love him anyway:) thereis no horse like him and i will die wen he leaves!

this makes me remember the night i found out my late qh mare, Classy, was mine. My parents were not horsey people and when i outgrew our little backyard shetland i thought i was done. But i came home to Classy just chillin in our yard. i had the best years with her and i will miss her terribly. this makes me cry!

I'm in complete tears watching this. My horse story is long and somewhat complicated but being told my boy was mine (I'd worked with him for 8 years at my volunteer work) was a huge shock and involved lots of tears (relief and happiness), hugging (so unlike me) and "Oh my god, I can't believe it!". I completely understand what you felt and possibly now still smile everytime you remember the day. Such an awesome video!

oh the memories. EVERYONE at my barn knew that my parents were going to buy the horse i wanted. I just thought that we werent gonna be buying her, until i went to the barn to see her and my trainers and parents suprised me with her!! It was the best suprise ever
