In Lagaan I LOVE Bhuvan (in an admireing, heterosexual sort of way.) He was the ONLY one willing to do what he had to, even if it meant to stand up to the British no matter how powerful they are. In a way he's kinda like William Wallace of Scotland.

Essentially the two teams have a cricket match for real and the England team wins. Aamir Khan ends with saying, well in the film the England team lost and the real cricket match they won, so they were really happy and that made us happy.
