IDK Why but I prefer normal headphones (some high quality (like beyerdynamic, sennheiser etc.)) over gaming headphones. It's just my opinion but I've heard a lot and right now I have Beyerdynamic MMX2 and these are really great and cost me only about 60$. Before I had various gaming headsets(SteelSeries, Creative, Logitech...) and these just sound bad compared to my Beyers... as I said it's just my opinion and everyone has different ears ;)

Astro's are the official headset sponsor of MLG. Almost all CoD and Halo pros use the. They are the best for a reason. They're better than Trittons, Turtle Beaches, and Steel Series. They might cost $280 but you spend over that on other headsets that break easily. If something breaks on the Astro you can get it fixed.

The astros are a amazing headset and very comfortable except if you turn them up all the way the base boosters can blow out... You should try the turtle beach limited edition mw3 deltas...
