Whats going on man!! i just subscribed to you and i have a question. i twisted my hair myself on dec. 17 and my hair already had some lenght to it i had braids and everything in the past but anyway my question is ive seen vids where pep have buds mainly in the middle of there locs when just starting out but the tips of my twist are fat and the very ends goes back to being skinny but not all of them are like that and i dont know if it is buds or im doing something wrong

hey man whats goin on... im from new zealand but we just moved to Australia man. and i got my dreads about 2-3 mouths ago now and its dreaded ok but you can tell where my hair has been growing because at the base of them my hair has not been dreading at all. so its like growing straight then gose into dreads... help me out man.

I had dreads done a couple of months ago but i didn't like them cause i got them done with permed hair so i decided to cut all the permed hair off this summer and now my hair is like 5-6 inches long naturel... my hair is realy nappy... so i wanted to ask you should i wait till next summer to do my dreads or should i do it know... on my own of caurse

do it now! if ur hair is 6-6 inches, thats more than enough of hair to start them. i always tell people to start their dreads with short hair, not long hair.

yeah thats fine. thats how i used to do it. i just retwisted them without using any clips. but i found out that they turn out much better when you do use clips

i retwist my locs without products in it. a lot of people chose to retwist with products, which is FINE, but im takin more of a "natural" approach witt my locs, so im not usin products. i really recommend u use products with younger locs tho.

and my hair isn't soaking wet, but it isnt dry when i retwist it. after i wash, i squeeze and shake my locs in the shower to get most of the water out, then i retwist while my hair has a little bit of water in it..its easier to twist that way
