@jaszon28 i wouldnt say it is a demotion. All of the Wicked companies are of equal caliber. The 1NT is literally Identical to the Broadway production save a few very small differences. The big hype about someone being on Broadway is that its...Broadway. All of the casts feature people that have been on Broadway, and will be there someday if they have not already.

The show altogether was great (it was my first time seeing it, I begged my parents to bring me) but this was by far my favorite!

He was awesome. we were just talking and he said his daughter was an understudie on the Wicked tour, so I asked who and he said Melissa, according to my mom my eyes got really big lol. Donna is with Wicked along with Marcie. There are just two tours on the road now. Donna and Katie Rose Clarke are with the First National Tour and Marcie and Helene Yorke are with the Second National Tour. This is Merideth Kaye Clark, the current standby on the First National Tour.

how do you record video? I've done audios but I would imagine it would be hard to record video.

Well it is hard. The best thing is to be in a good area away from the exit doors since there are at times an usher sitting there. You don't wan them to see you doing it. Have a good Camera that records video or a good video camera. If your camera has a display try to lower the brightness to the point where you can still see what your doing. Then aim and shoot. And make sure to stay as steady as possible.

@Marvelous0ne i think the biggest thing is if the camera can handle extreme light and darkness- especially in this scene there is big difference between the lights and dark, and only a good camera will capture the scene and the flying effect properly :)

I loved donna as elphaba but I definitely would love to see merideth as well! we had the (us) marissa lupp as galinda. she got better as the night went on and really had some great moments. By the way, Kerry is a superb Elphaba when it comes to vocals, but her voice, to me is outshined by Stephanie J. Block. Kerry may have the purity, but Stephanie's voice ( considering the role was made for her) is Elphaba! And on another hand, there are a lot of the other Elphabas who outdo Kerry when it comes to acting as well. Just my opinion, though.

Actually, Merideth was the understudy, and not the standby, at the time that Carmen Cusack was Elphaba. Donna Vivino was the standby, and she replaced Carmen when she left. Then, Merideth was promoted to standby for Donna. I saw Merideth perform last May, when she was the understudy, and she was very good! She has really grown into the role!
