  • Okay, I am 99% sure that song with the squid is from the Atlantis: The Lost Empire OST. o.O

  • wish i could speak and/or understand the language .>.< beautiful creatures

  • Comb jellies are not bio-luminescent they refract ambient light.

  • 1:16 super happy color sushi

  • The Asian philosophy: "If it can swim, eat it. Even to the point of extinction."

  • why is it that when i see a fucking video from japan theres always a small box on the corner showing the stupid peoples reaction? every single fucking time!

  • I predict (dim lights please)

-echo voice- In the year 2000.

The rainbow jellyfish will replace skittles as Americas favorite color flavored snack food.

  • man leave those animals alone also they have enough shit to deal with out our human meddling

  • Yeah the japanese need to get some real restrictions on there over fishing of the sea they're killing it. They don't need shark fin for an erection bonus take a placebo it'll work better. (or a better looking girl)

  • its just sad most japanese people dont understand this...and even sadder more people dont know to respect the sea as its our single greatest recourse of life =((

  • Yup I understand that, I hope the japanese popular culture evolves and becomes not so fucking stupid on the resources of the life in the oceans. OOOH pretty colors wooohoo pathetic.

  • lol you're a fucking tool

  • @Theronguardaaah You are a stupid person. You would be amazed if you saw something amazing. How about you look at our culture in retrospect.

  • japs are probably licking their lips at the thought of eating these

  • @MarcoMinnemann Aren't we all?

  • its acctualy bacteria which reflects a bioluminecent film when refracting light

  • Actually the comb rows glow because the cilia are reflecting light not bio luminescence. Also it is not related to a jelly fish people just confuse them as being so.

  • what is this show called in japan? Ive seen clips of this before... I think its hilarious and awesome

  • what i like the most are the ohhh of the japanese

    daichiii

  • Japanese and there glowing toys....actually thoes are real. that last one is in the jellyfish family though

  • how far does something have to go to be classed as alien?

even if there is life on other planets, it wont be much more impressive than that :D

  • It would probably be so different it would make humans and these creatures look similar.

  • Anything foreign in or minds can be considered alien like illegal immigrants which are considered alien.

  • :36 RASENGAN!!!

  • The reason he had to shake the bowl was to agitate the bioluminescence in the plankton if it wasn't agitated it wouldn't light. Also there are 5 lakes in the world that have bioluminescent plankton

  • bioluminescense is a common feature of marine phytoplancton. a lot of dinoflagellates such as Noctiluca and gonyaulax are widespread over the oceans. you can see them in the night when you are walking through the shallow water by flashing lights.

  • we dont need to go to space to find aliens:o

  • If I'm not wrong this is a quiz show and only one of these creatures does exists for real.

  • One of the great consequences of millions of years of evolution :-)

  • ohmy god i knew nature is full of suprises.. but i did never expect this:O

  • oooo. purdy

  • yes they are real

  • woow!! r these real animals ??

  • Very real animals. These things are so interesting, aren't they?
