I love how on the pages of every minimalist band, there are always comments saying that they need to add more instruments. YOU PEOPLE ARE MISSING THE POINT!!!
Every single video of a live performance people in the comments are bitching about the crowd? If you can find one video where it shows the crowd and somebody isn't complaining aboot it please share it with me.
@chaosnewterer Hmm...Well, RATM crowds always seem to give 110%. Lol. However, I agree, crowd enthusiasm/participation standards do seem to be a bit high on here.

@joinedforpaz : the crowd alaways' sucks at the kills show. They're not a "live" band, their music, is a "background" music, a music ou listen to at a diner with your friend, when you working, ou these kind of stuffs. It's not live music
@helene59ification : I want to preface this by saying that I am a HUGE fan of their music and style. I listen to them often and their new album is awesome. Having said that, there is a degree of truth to what you are saying. I do not see The Kills as an arena band, I think they are not mainstream enough to support that kind of atmosphere. However, at a smaller venue I feel they would bring the house down. The energy that the two of them give off is amazing.
@Cubicks Have to disagree with you there. Yeah, they're not a mainstream act and a smaller venue suits their style more. But they have played many a festival. At Glasto I think they were a curiousity factor for a lot of the crowd because of Jaime's now wife- which is fair enough, it goes with the territory. The gig was in the afternoon which added to that further. It was one of those 'to be stared at' gigs. Many didn't know a lot of songs either but I think they won 'em over.
Hmm The KIlls sound amazing but what's the point of watching the video, the camera dashing around so much you can hardly see them play! The cameras are more focused on filming the drunk hipsters instead of the band. All they need were a couple of cameras at the front of the stage so they could pan out and show a full view of Allison and Jamie. Or a camera at both ends of the stage and a camera in the back not all these crowd shots!
@winryrocky sure, but the cameras were there for every band on the other stage...and they probably just went for the lowest common denominator in terms of band coverage.
@lovestospoodge a duo is a duo for a reason, if theres only two on the record then only two should be on stage, alison and jamie are good enough on their own!
Jamie Hotel is so awesome, I wish I could rock clothes like that.
