Fuck you. I would like to personally thank you for partially ruining The Usual Suspects for me. I saw your comment before I watched the film, I tried to put your comment away from my mind when I was watching it but couldn't forget. I always had him down as Keyser Soze thanks to you. I guess it was a surprise in a way, I kept telling myself it wasn't Kevin Spacey. But no, thank you very much you smug prick. That would have been one of the best films I've ever seen if it weren't for you.

modern movie stars are defined by 4 checkmarks, 1 do they have a distinct persona 2 does the public know a lot about their personal lives 3 do their movies make hundreds of millions of dollars mostly released during the summer 4 do their star in big budget movies that are either effects driven or plot heavy. Tom Hanks meets all those criteria, but he is still an astronomically great actor because of the humanity he brings to all his characters.

I just don't get it with Tom Hanks. I don't think he's a great actor... he comes across as arrogant and so over the top. He just doesn't get subtlety.
But fair play if you like him, I guess it's all a subjective thing :)
I like Spacey though.

Great interview, great guest. I love Kevin Spacey. Always an entertaining talk show guest. Love his stories. And having Judi Dench there made it delicious. First movie I saw him in was Usual Suspects. Then saw Swimming with Sharks, Seven and L.A. Confidential. An actor's actor.

God, I think Kevin Spacey is so, so, attractive. Sure, George Clooney etc. might be 'hotter' but Kevin Spacey has so much charisma & intelligence... aahh! Not to mention he's a great actor. Still consequently playing great roles, albeit in lesser-known films. Love him.
