I like Hank Hannegraf for his exposure of false things, even in Christian circles, particularly some of the silly things that charasmatics sometimes do -- and I am one -- I still warn that Hank is weak in the area of spiritual gifts and we all would do well not to follow leaders in the area of their weaknesses. Bill's gospel vs. Jesus's gospel. Which do you prefer? Laying down your life and drawing near to Christ or saving what's most dear in this life and clinging to yourself?

no, you're wrong. I've got all the revelation I need from God. I don't get it from Bill, as you do, whose revelation comes from himself. All the best doesn't mean much if you don't really care enough about a fellow believer whom you believe to need help to correct them using the Word of God. Would you say to a homeless person, "Go your way and be well and fed..."?

Well, I say that simply because you follow some of Bill's doctrine, so that is Bill's revelation and not God's. Argument is not a sin. Paul argued, Jesus argued, and many more holy men of God argued. Would you be so bold as to question God why He thinks argument/debate is a valid tool for Him to use in opening blind eyes and unstopping deaf ears?

Perhaps my knowledge of scripture is not as good as yours, but I don't recall Jesus arguing with anyone. I remember Him speaking with authority, but arguments I don't recall. It was His authority that opened up the deaf ears, not arguments. The Lord Jesus didn't have to debate with ANYONE.

Jesus argued with the Pharisees and Scribes often. He called them hypocrites. They retorted with challenges. He wrestled with the powers of darkness both in action and word. Look up the passages in Scripture on Jesus' confrontations---there you will find the arguments.

All things work togeather for good for those who love christ. God can work through bad surcomstances, but he's not sending sicknesses on people. That's n effect of the world falling into sin. To be able to pray in faith every person must know, that there is healing given to them, and that God doesn't want them to be sick. That is what i think Bill is trying to teach in his books.

Please don't just read the bible without letting your heart be taught by the Spirit, that's what the farisees did.

I've also studdied false teachings. But many time's when God's increasing the revelationdeapth in some old good gospel teaching, people get scared. This man is on a fast track to the occult. He endorses Benny Hinn, who has made many false prophecies, one of which is Christ's physical appearance at one of his conferences. Jesus tells us in Scripture not to believe one like that. Bill teaches that prophecy is declaring what you want to happen, that everyone can do it if they have enough faith. He adds to Scripture, and the Bible warns about the spiritual fate of those who do so. Why would they do it? Why did Judas betray Christ? Money.

What makes him so different from other pastors? I am not so sure about deliverance ministry, BUT, I do know that his church and ministry are full of miracles and healings and I happen to know a person who is associated with the ministry personally and tells me that Bethel is for real. That's important to get rid of, but all you need to do is pray that Jesus can help you put off the old man and put on the new. When you were saved, Jesus washed all that away---read Scripture daily and learn to love Him. And old ways you tuned into the spirit world need to go, to. I have one for you:"Put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander." That implies you can be in Christ and fall back into these things. There are numerous other scripture about conduct.

His doctrine is not in line with Scripture. Many people who follow Bill are deceived b/c they don't study Scripture on their own, so they rely on teachers to do it for them---they're spoon fed like babies. The only milk you need is God's Word. Believe me---I've looked deeply into his teachings, dissected his books and sermons---they have the makings of: denying the deity of Christ, badmouthing the Old Testament and the book of Job, saying God doesn't work through bad circumstances.

Stay away from his ministry. There may be miracles happening, but his doctrine is totally not in line with Scripture, which makes him a false teacher. Since you have his book, look up the original passages of Scripture he uses in his text to substantiate his claims. You'll find they most often do not reinforce his new doctrine.
