  • @MuayThaiViking It has way more unsaturated fats then saturated fats, and if you want hard core healthy meat you go for the leanest meat you can find with no marbling, no guarantee on taste.

  • Man, wonder what the price of feed is these days, operating energy cost up too. Farmers [Grain Producers] & Beef & Dairy are getting hammered on both ends of the cow. If, CAP & TRADE BILL is pushed through, agriculture will pay more for energy, then farmers will be taxed on their cow’s Carbon Foot Print. Chuck-chop may reach $20 a lbs. & Milk same cost per gal. Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich in favor for Cap & Trade. Americans will eat Tofu Meat, just like drinking so-called Soy Milk.

  • From The Butcher, Yes It is a 100% and without a doubt a Rib-Eye, eitherway ,super quality is represented here regardless of the cut. Yummy

  • fking moron .. can't even differentiate Rib eye from sirloin , and he want to charge 30 buck per oz .. this fatsold sound like snake oil sales man .. or one of those guys that selling gucci bags on new york street.. if he beef cost 30 buck per oz.. it cost more then Japan's true Kobe beef .. and i don't believe this piece is beyond grade 8

  • Sorry, it's know that the flavor is not only in the beef itself but the marbling and fat. These cuts are damn good.

  • We only eat wagyu beef...here in Australia we can get it for $30 a kilogram, thats 2.2 lb's. Best meat money can buy!!!

  • @peanutking242 Not at all, We buy it from a chain of butcher stores called Super Butcher! They had Wagyu rump, marble score 7, the other week on sale for $14.99 a kilogram. And it was brilliant on the BBQ!!!

  • @kunjie1984 I know my steak cuts and so do you. It's a Ribeye.The dark meat is on the outside layer. The most flavorful.

  • @JoeZcookingtips1 Oo Dark meat? As far as I know wagyu doesnt have any meat that is really dark, just slightly darker red but still very clear, prove me wrong however, i'd be glad to learn. I do know however the cheaper American versions do actually have darker looks and is more robust. :p Much like the cars ^^ Instead of sleek, muscle cars are more popular. No offense, its just stating a fact :)

  • @ANormalGuy On the left side where his fingers are is where the dark meat would be on a normal Rib-Eye. It's more light pink in this steark then dark red. Still too much fat for me.

  • It is not a ribeye!!! It is definitely a sirloin or Porterhouse as it's known in Australia I should know I pay $350 per kilo for it.
