@MuayThaiViking It has way more unsaturated fats then saturated fats, and if you want hard core healthy meat you go for the leanest meat you can find with no marbling, no guarantee on taste.
Man, wonder what the price of feed is these days, operating energy cost up too. Farmers [Grain Producers] & Beef & Dairy are getting hammered on both ends of the cow. If, CAP & TRADE BILL is pushed through, agriculture will pay more for energy, then farmers will be taxed on their cow’s Carbon Foot Print. Chuck-chop may reach $20 a lbs. & Milk same cost per gal. Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich in favor for Cap & Trade. Americans will eat Tofu Meat, just like drinking so-called Soy Milk.
I am the official distributor of this Wagyu meat within Spain & Portugal (and rest of Europe). The first time I tasted the meat I couldn´t believe my mouth...
Nowadays I am a fan of my Wagyu meat. Marble rate 7-10 is the best MBS in my opinion. More marbling is to fat for European taste, we are quite ¨cheap¨ in comparison with others delivery directl from a official Wagyu farm.
It is a shame I can´t post a photo of a sirlion here. The structure looks like the Iberian Pata negra pork.
fking moron .. can't even differentiate Rib eye from sirloin , and he want to charge 30 buck per oz .. this fatsold sound like snake oil sales man .. or one of those guys that selling gucci bags on new york street.. if he beef cost 30 buck per oz.. it cost more then Japan's true Kobe beef .. and i don't believe this piece is beyond grade 8
the only thing that would stop me from buying from that dude is his band aide while handling the product... ewwwww but otherwise the beef looks good :)
@BelleyGirl1 true. and he doesnt know what piece of meat he is holding. i wish the guy holding the camera had made him look like a fool, pointing out those 2 things
A chef who can't tell the difference between a sirloin and a ribeye of KOBE FREAKING BEEF... That's like giving a brand new Ferrrari to my 80 year old grand mother
@peanutking242 Not at all, We buy it from a chain of butcher stores called Super Butcher! They had Wagyu rump, marble score 7, the other week on sale for $14.99 a kilogram. And it was brilliant on the BBQ!!!
sirloin does not have an eye... he knows anything about beef??? It.s a ribeye dude.. i argree sirloin has a layer of fats but sirlion shape its longer and its end cut got a mussle veins..
@JoeZcookingtips1 Oo Dark meat? As far as I know wagyu doesnt have any meat that is really dark, just slightly darker red but still very clear, prove me wrong however, i'd be glad to learn. I do know however the cheaper American versions do actually have darker looks and is more robust. :p Much like the cars ^^ Instead of sleek, muscle cars are more popular. No offense, its just stating a fact :)
@ANormalGuy On the left side where his fingers are is where the dark meat would be on a normal Rib-Eye. It's more light pink in this steark then dark red. Still too much fat for me.
just eat pork belly. it has as much fat and way cheaper.

@kunjie1984 I know my steak cuts and so do you. It's a Ribeye. The dark meat is on the outside layer. The most flavorful.
