theres a diff between roller skates and roller blades... since they play on roller blades thats why they call it roller hockey... sry if that didnt help

Sure, they're just really heavy. The wheels are considerably smaller though, which takes aways from speed and handling. I'd Make the investment of a pair of roller hockey skates. Entry level pairs come in right around 100 dollars.

u can, but with normal roller blades, the boot is tight around the ankle. many roller hockey players prefer a looser ankle. plus the boots are made to turn quicker and designed a lot tougher. hope that answers ur question
