When I test drove mine I was allowed to go out all by myself for around half an hour!

No need for a baldy sat watching my every move, but then again that garage did have the likes of Aston martins and lamborghini gallardos sat in the showroom.

the bodystyle isnt the only thing they changed, theres only the auto DSG transmission in it which sux. i am hopefully getting an 04 r32 soon, but idk gotta find a decent priced one, and some of the salesmen dont let me drive it bc they dont see me as serious and some i just knw are thinking he cant drive stikc, but w.e some of them dnt know how to drive it.

@ATSMaster yes in the United States the MK4 was produced in 2004 and in Europe it was a 2003...we didnt get the MK5 R until 2008 which was the 2007 for europe.

I grew up in Nassau county. I just bought a 2004 R32...its absolutely SICK!! I SMOKED a mustang gt the other day...love the sound and the handling is just like a Porsche...GREAT CAR!

The 08's are nice too. I prefer that MKIV over the MKV. Opened up the 08' WOT during a test drive and it does have some nice pull but without that manual transmission, it was rather dull except for the 140 mph.

sounds stock to me. we have a silver one i learned to drive on. handles like nothing else in the snow. we have a e92 m3 as well but i havnt gotten a chance to drive that full out on a backroad yet so i can't say what its like compared to it
