did you tame him? if you did do you think you could help me a little? Im getting a mustang mare this weekend that is untamed and the problem is is that she is somewhere between the age 14 and 18 yrs old. does this mean she cannot be trained to ride or be tamed at all? i need some tips if you may! she is not a crazy mustang but she is not tamed. she will not let you approach her. im just asking if she will be able to still jump and ride since her age is a little high. thanx!

older horses can learn as well as younger horses. sometimes its a bit more difficult to get them to give in. cuz theyve gone through most of their life thinkin theyre the big guy and they can do what they want. i know its a long time after you posted that comment and i was wondering how she turned out and if you still have her?
