Instead of X,Y,A,B, my controller is 1,2,3,4, but I figured it out and learned how to cape fly. After I beat this game, I will need help with Mario 3, I'll search for a flying video then.

Thanks for the teaching, man. I've never been able to do it before. Thank you so much, it really helps a lot. Now I feel fully confident to beat Super Mario World on my own, and I'm getting through it pretty well with the help of save states.

I'm glad I have a USB gamepad similar to the original SNES controller, I can not begin to imagine playing with a keyboard. I'm glad there are double L and R buttons for save state and save load.

But you didn't say that once you've pressed the B button you have to release the A button (the one you use to jump).

If you keep holding the jump button, the cape thing won't work.
