I use windows as my OS, and I use Safari as my browser. and safari is better than my FF. I use FF3 plus fasterfox, but safari still faster.
Im sorry if some of you say "boo.. FF is faster than safari" BUT this is what I experience, may be you'll say it is because my comp or what, BUT not only me, my friendS all feel the same as I am. now im comfortable with safari.
I think I got it for around $1100 at Best Buy. Had a great deal that was 18 months no interest if you used a Best Buy credit card so I did half cash and half credit and paid the thing off over about 5-6 months with no interest.
the lack of smoothness when scrolling in firefox seems to be something thats really only your problem, or because you're on a mac, or whatever. on my vista computers, the pages display 100% fine, and the scrolling is lso 100% fine. theres no jumping or lag of any sort (on media-intensive pages included)
Safari works well on the Mac no doubt, but as you said Safari on Windows in not a good comparison. I could tell you the same for Firefox 3 on the Mac.
Firefox 4.0 beta 1 is the best

Safari is a hell lot laster with my mac than firefox from my experience.
And this is with the older safari... the new one will be about 3X faster than the old one HAHA.
Though firefox has the advantage of add-ons so feel more conformable when surfing, though looks and easy to add add-ons for video rendering ETC
So I would rather use safari for everyday surfing and firefox as a backup.

On Linux FF 3 has no blurry or anything else.
It must be Mac OS X.

Well, Firefox and Safari both have their strengths and weaknesses.
In some cases, Safari may be better than Firefox or Vice Versa.
Different Operating systems give different results when it comes to stuff like this.

That could be the case, does anyone else who uses Firefox on Vista have the issues described in the video? Anyone else on Mac OS X?
