I don't understand the people who compare an iPad to a netbook. Netbooks are for cheapass-people who can't afford a laptop or people who just don't want a laptop but are happy with a slow,small version of it. iPad is not a computer it's a Tablet. It's a totally different product. Besides that: Netbooks have software installed that isn't 100% designed for a netbook. iPad has software that is 100% designed for iPad. In my opinion an iPad is way better than a netbook but again:different market.

Yeah... The Mac aspect aside, it's pretty cool, and all... I still prefer to have a REAL LAPTOP instead. All of that stuff that the iTampon (Oops. Sorry. @alan104449 opinion taken! i personally find this a fantastic travel gadget, as I can instantly import my photos from my camera onto it for storage and to show it to my friends instantly, maybe upload them to facebook, etc. The truth is when I'm out and about I don't want to wait for something like a netbook to have to boot up nor worry about a tiny 3-hour battery life, and the ipad addresses both those issues. not useless, just expensive.
