@samsung5413 I bought the Akai years ago when I was a poor student (Student Loan !!) but haven't used it for ages. I used it a lot for drum loops (timestretching etc) back then but Logic does a lot of that for me now. It spent the last 10 years in my basement as a very expensive door stop!! But I fired it up recently and it still works great! So I stuck it back in the rack. I've been mucking about with creating ambiences, sampling them and playing them from a keyboard.

When I went to Tom Scholz house, he had a bunch oh 3000s. When I played Eddie's rig, he had a few 3000 in line. They both also had Roland SDE-3000 digital delays. I always loved them too.

what are you using for the drums??

The main drum sound comes from a pattern I made in my Boss DR660. I created various loops in Logic with it and there's a load of effects added too at various points.

Some news: I noticed You use a lot of digital stuff, I started with boss and Line6 many years ago, but than come back to...tubes! I know volume is a problem in a non prepared room, but give a try to Mesa: Ta15 the 5W with a 2x12 setting is good enough and it's "real"

do you use a noise supressor at all? also for the intro sounds? were they all done with the Harmonizer?

Hi there, no noise supressor used. I applied a Multiband compressor to the whole mix to keep the overall level in check and stop anything clipping/distorting. Up to 25 secs in it's just the Eventide you're hearing then at that point I start a pad sound 'Milky Choir' from the Roland JV1080.

Hi there, I'm using the 'Reverse Shift' Algorithm on the H3000 for the effect. I don't think the pitchfactor has that so I'm not sure if it's possible to replicate it. However, first chance I get I'll send you the settings for the H3000.
