I became addicted to Soft Cell when I was in the 7th grade (when Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret came out). I remember asking my mom what "seedy" meant. Mom's jaw dropped when she listened to the album, but still let me keep it (after explaining ALMOST all the songs... she refused to even acknowledge "Sex Dwarf" LOL!)

I loved this song so much back in the 80's that I went by train to London to experience Soho to find where they had the picture taken for the back of their album Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret ie along the alleyway down by old Raymond Revue Bar which no longer lights up its neon signs after the death of their owner Paul Raymond and is in financial difficulties - also Non Stop Erotic Cabaret name was from a bar too in Brewer Street!! Soho was very different back then than it is today!
