Hi, I'm 28 and Canadian. I've started doing a lot of reading in University about Socialism and I can't find where it is evil. As a system it is pretty sound. Who doesn't want a government that takes care of all the needs of the people? From what I've seen a socialist society would work much better than the horrible capitalist society we are in right now. Our proud points, like our health care system are socialist concepts. And I don't know a Canadian that wants to get right of medicare.

Actually communism promotes a type of grassroots democracy. Anyways in a Capitalist system the accumulation of capital relies on surplus value created by unpaid labour. The worker has to be exploited in order for the capitalist to become rich.

Exploited??? Its called working your way up the ladder. You start out at the basement and over time you are promoted or get a raise. Communism promotes pure hatred. This hatred was on display when the Red Army entered Berlin for example.

Hi, I'm 28 and Canadian. I've started doing a lot of reading in University about Socialism and I can't find where it is evil. As a system it is pretty sound. Who doesn't want a government that takes care of all the needs of the people? From what I've seen a socialist society would work much better than the horrible capitalist society we are in right now. Our proud points, like our health care system are socialist concepts. And I don't know a Canadian that wants to get right of medicare.

Perhaps you have a reason to hide under YOUR "desk" It falls upon ones self to, sooner or later, pull his head out of the sand and see reality for what it is and not what you may expect it to be.
