JC there's the cost of buying a business (get the loan and make the payments on time), the cost of running the business ( payroll, advertising, overhead- gas, electricity, maintenance, tools and vehicles, insurance, supplies, etc.), the cost of expanding the business (more personnel, more tools, more vehicles, etc.), the cost in time (80 + hours per week for the owner). Obama's taxes will cut into all of that, causing owners to down size- cut personnel and overhead. Unemployment will sky rocket.

Well I payed a little more attention to his plan specifics and what I read is this. Anyone making over 250k a year is taxed more then before. Say you make 280k a year. Your tax in this next bracket is increased 4%, but that is 4% of what you make over 250k. In this case that's 4% of 30k, which is like a 1300 dollar increase, If this breaks your company into bankruptcy then you are doing something wrong.
This increase is mainly targeted towards the top 1%. You and I are not even close to this bracket and never will be. We have seen many times what tax favors for these guys do vs. tax favors for us little guys (yes even your a little guy at 300k compared to the 1%). Bottom line, if the everyday American has less money spent on taxes and more money on hand, where do you think it will go? It will be spent. More money for us to spend on their products, it's a no brainer.

The "rich", as you put it, pay a higher percentage of their income than any other bracket, and a MUCH higher percentage of the total taxes paid. Obama's "rewards" for hiring are a joke. $3K tax credit? Gov't tried a $10K tax credit in the past, and it didn't work. I'm an employer. I know how it works. McCain proposes FURTHER tax cuts, for EVERYONE. Obama's plan will hurt the economy, and "kill the golden goose".

Again, lets say somehow he managed to buy this business with all the money he saved from not paying his taxes for years. HIs bussiness makes 280k thats 30k over the 250k bracket. His tax goes from 35-39% on what he makes OVER 250k. JC there's the cost of buying a business (get the loan and make the payments on time), the cost of running the business ( payroll, advertising, overhead- gas, electricity, maintenance, tools and vehicles, insurance, supplies, etc.), the cost of expanding the business (more personnel, more tools, more vehicles, etc.), the cost in time (80 + hours per week for the owner). Obama's taxes will cut into all of that, causing owners to down size- cut personnel and overhead. Unemployment will sky rocket.

Funny is when everyone laughs. This ain't funny. Quite a few plumbers in my city make over $200,000.00 (Obama's new set tax level) and will have to lay off workers and sell assets if Obama wins. Many business owners are already making plans to lay off workers and sell off assets, the only way they can afford an Obama presidency. Our city council is trying to figure out how to replace the lost revenue already.

whether it is joe the plumber or some other person, people who are looking to start a business are waiting till after the election because is Obama wins, pray to God he doesn't, they will be taxed more just because they are successful. If Obama wins, unemployment will go up due to lay-off for not wanting to get taxed or being able to get a job; and he wants to ban sales of ammunition which he has no right to do.

Well I payed a little more attention to his plan specifics and what I read is this. Anyone making over 250k a year is taxed more then before. Say you make 280k a year. Your tax in this next bracket is increased 4%, but that is 4% of what you make over 250k. In this case that's 4% of 30k, which is like a 1300 dollar increase, If this breaks your company into bankruptcy then you are doing something wrong.

This increase is mainly targeted towards the top 1%. You and I are not even close to this bracket and never will be. We have seen many times what tax favors for these guys do vs. tax favors for us little guys (yes even your a little guy at 300k compared to the 1%). Bottom line, if the everyday American has less money spent on taxes and more money on hand, where do you think it will go? It will be spent. More money for us to spend on their products, it's a no brainer.

He will have to get one if he buys the business, which can be done with a small business loan. The lien is for a minor sum and may just be a disputed amount. as I said earlier, his boss TOLD him to take some time off. Now you know how it works, so don't be stupid and keep saying your bunk.

When they went back and interviewed him he admitted he couldn't buy the business, you say "small business loan"wasn't the whole thing about putting himself above the $250,000tax bracket?you don't even make sense,a minor sum or not,to get a tax lien it has to go beyond collection or dispute,look up tax law,he shouldn't have presented himself to be something he isn't,point blank, why do you think all these people are laughing?and it is just lonely old you trying to defend poor Joe.

orph, as to my education, well, I've done a lot of looking and crunching numbers and, oh, I know Democratic methods (they aren't called tax and spend for nothing). I know the Demo part of Congress CAUSED this crisis to happen and I know it could have been avoided has the Republicans got their way, 2003, 04 05, 06, 07. But the Democrats did not let prevention happen. That means they manufactured it, at the right time for Obama, who, for ACORN forced sub-prime loans to happen, 1994. Homework done!

orph, sorry! I did my best to spoon feed you the facts and the chain of events. Intellectually I did my research, listened to the man, logically crunched the numbers (they didn't add up) and realized he's just another Tax and Spend Liberal Dem, but with a stronger socialist commitment. I survived Carter. I can survive two years of Obama, if I have too. By then everybody will see the folly of the Dems and vote their lying butts out of Congress.

Schummer, Dodd, and Frank prevented regulation of Fannie and Freddie 2001, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, & 07 in Committee. Fannie & Freddie broke the markets. Raising cap gains taxes shrinks revenue. These are FACTS you can find online if you dig as I have dug. Obama says he will spend over a trillion in HAVE TO ADDRESS problems. Unless he guts the military that doesn't add up. Gutting the mil is suicide.
