i was at this fire with my department. this was a vacant house that was being built. the explosions were from propane tanks on the roof that were being used by roofers for some reason. that is believed to be the cause of the fire. it was scary though, as soon as i stepped off the truck, the first tank exploded. crazy stuff
Yeah man, thats what I did. I was expecting to see a fire ball or something. All the other firefighters with me were stunned. It is a good thing that no one got hurt.
I was away when this happened, but my friend used to live on this property a few years back (before the original house was torn down and the condo was being built.) =[ Looks sick.
my friend lived there too b4 they tore his house down and built this new one..
my dad was at this fire too cliffside park fire dept. he was on a line at the side of the house.. sick..

Yeah, it was SICK! My son and I were out on the balcony, and when we heard the first explosion, I told him to duck for cover!
