I researched this subject for a Psych II class along with Cotard's Syndrome, it's true people don't have recognition skills...........but it takes electroconvulsive therapy in most cases to help symptoms.

Not only is it a poor representation of the terrible suffering a capgras patient experiences, you also fail to realize the psychological and physical impact it has on friends and family members of the diseased.
