  • @anhthiensaigon No, it doesn´t. Get a Fenix

  • Better than the LED Lenser P7? I have a P7, but I am considering buying this. How does it compare in brightness?

  • @MrEreda led p7 have 200 lumens and xl100 have 83 only....

  • @ak47838383 Thanks! I will stick with my P7 then, although this torch looks cool. They will have to make it brighter than that before I buy one though.

  • cocaine pinky

  • Thanks for the info.. U taught me how to use mine :D

  • Does your neighbor complain about you shining lights at his/her house?

  • hygiene is your friend.

  • gay intro!!!

    --Tracy

  • I found out what the voice was: it was from his MacBook clock.

    --Tracy

  • Made in the US by an Croatian! :) Anthony Maglica

  • Great review and props for the NES on the dresser.

  • Great review. Finally SOMEONE does an outdoor demonstration of this torch.

  • Only issue with this is in the dark, how would you know which setting is "up" so you can just turn the damn thing on without a super special effect going off.

  • how much does that run for?

  • Not a big fan of this light. Bought it today, had to watch the video on yourtube to even figure out how to adjust it! The instructions that come with it suck. After using it for a few days my conclusion is to return it to the store for something more user friendly.

  • i love maglite..... but that thing is way to wonky

  • LOL at the NES and messy ass room. Good review, though. I'll be getting this soon.

  • How many people do you have in your deep freeze buddy?

  • @toobadsosad83 mean spirited.....LOL

  • what is the brand of that clock on the bottom with the words instead of numbers. that's an interesting clock. Also wanted to know the brand of the talking clock. nice video, getting this light for my dad for christmas

  • how are you suppose to see the modes at night?

  • can you get replacement leds for this if they were to die, would it be possible to pop the lense out and replace it with a glass 1 and is it actualy WATERPROOF as a posed to just splash proof ?

  • whats so bad about a battery carrier? wow u spent the whole night doing the review thankx

  • whats so bad about a battery carrier?

  • Good review. If you don't like the grip then wrap it tightly with a bike inner tube. You can also slip a lanyard under the inner tube. As for battery life, just use new batteries.

  • I want more info for your battery charger, I now use ninh energizer batteries in my flashlights. I like the digital display. So if you can post the model or where you got the battery charger and price. thanks and take care...

  • 30 Euro today on iBOOD.com only in Holland!

  • @marijn100 heb hem idd meteen besteld.

  • Good video. I'm getting a AA multi-mode because I frequently use the candle feature, but you were very informative. And bear in mind that those rechargeables are only 1.2V at the best of times.

  • You have more junk in your room than me! Good video.

  • how many lumenss??

  • I am totally buying this!

  • @svtcuntour you do talk some bullshit....lol....you said you were getting a P17 for lamping children you pedo....

  • @svtcuntour lamped any children yet you pedo tosser....djjeffclive is squirming on the page about reporting abuse on youtube....guilty...lol....

  • E X E L E N T R E V I E W !!!!

  • @yesus00 Excellent you retard.

  • Is it possible to setup the beam's girth?

  • CUT PINKY PLEASE!!!!

  • Would you recommend this for a primary flashlight in a zombie apocalypse

  • @GoldNCase highly so :)

  • @dieselducy

Thank you, I am 1 step from completeing my kit.

  • @GoldNCase i would recommend an olight m21 warrior

  • @mlgprotipsy

    back up like

    checked.

    Thanks

  • @GoldNCase np :)

  • @GoldNCase for a zombie apocalypse I would use a 6d maglite, since it can be used to smash zombie heads open XD

  • @arnoldt14

    OMG JUST LEIK DOOM 3!

But how the lighting? better than the XL1000

  • @GoldNCase primary flashlight = maglite 4d/6d

  • mine was free

  • dude cut your pinkie nail.. its disgusting

  • @ekstc I think he uses it to scoop up coke. Don't you hear him? He's high as fuck. lol

  • @ekstc - That is for scooping the coke with.

  • "hi cookie" lol i cant wait to get this flashlight

  • Love your old clock man! That's awesome.

  • it did considerably well on 850mah batteries but could stand a chance at doing even better with some higher mah batteries like some 1000+mah maybe even better with some energizer lithium batteries and out of curiosity were maglites ratted run time with alkaline s

  • dude, you gotta cut that pinky fingernail......nasty.

  • @metroplexchl - That is for scooping the coke with.

  • @metroplexchl its for snorting cocaine haha no joke they dip in the coke bag and get out a nice hit

  • a little bit too much technology for a flashlight, fmho. Very very cool, anyway!

  • a little bit too much technology for a flashlight, fmho. Very very cool, anyway!

  • a little bit too much technology for a flashlight, fmho

  • why is your pinky finger nail larger than the rest?

  • This flashlight is BOSS!! For the price/performance, it can't be beat. Brightest flashlight I own!

  • Oh man. I want to have this MagLite XL100. Sadly difficult to find in Malaysia

  • I´d like to see a review of the two other new Maglites: ML100, ML150. Are they avaliable now in the US? Can´t find any reviews of them on youtube..(?)

  • good review...i love maglite....havnt used thier led versions...i like the features its nice...the twist and it will dim to what you want it...very nice...however 83 lumens isnt that great compared to the 120 lumens fenix ld10 and quark aa tatical r5 just to name a few..but then agian those lites dont have the features this maglite has...does it stand up to use in candle mode? i was waiting to see that.....btw thats an old old old clock..my great grand father had one like that

  • Is this the only Maglite that has a stobe feature? I'm a newbie to all this stuff :-P

  • this is a very good thorough review, thanks.

  • bro, i wanted to see this thing work but couldn't get passed your fingernails.

Geesus. Didn't you know you were doin this video?

    i've just searched someone else.

  • it has a nice UI i must admit but compared to other lights i would not consider this as my edc light. it's to thick, it has no lanyardhole ,the plastic lens sucks major and 83 lumens? come on man there are lights out there that do double that in the same price range with a glass lens. lanyardhole, less AAA's maybe the burntime is less but then who needs 3 continuous hours of 160 lumens in a edc light :o)

  • @aguilanl hey...just wonder what you use for your edc light....i got a fenix ld10..love it...just wondering what your carring

  • Excellent review. It's a shame it costs more than double to buy here in the UK. I'll be buying mine from the USA even with international shipping added on it still works out much cheaper.

  • good job, very detail.

  • I guess wil Duracell the batteries will last much longer

  • GREAT VID....very clear video..!!!! thanks for sharing...

bought one yesterday....when i bought mine , from brightguy , they sized me

up a perfect holster for it.........G "day..........

  • These are $40 at home depot. Get a Quark AA at 4sevens.com and it will wipe the floor with this thing on 1 AA battery, WAY brighter, better build quality, better all around!

  • your am and pm are mixed up 21 hours is nine oclock at night not im the morning

  • Is that a coke nail? Lol.

  • Trim and clean your fingernails you grubb

  • Pinky finger is longer cause u snort coke.

  • @TheWoodlink Lol. Pobably does.

  • cut your nails dear..

  • does it come with a holster

  • @bigboyjack21 no it doesnt.

  • cheap pharmaceuticals in full use

  • Dude clean your nails lol good review thought I like my xl100 love the stobe for the dirt bag that trys to break in to the house!!!!

  • I forgot, I am also annoyed over the plastic lens on my mini-mag multimode.

But they are cheap and easy to replace....

  • The 2AA maglite that you compared with, It can not have been the 2AA multi-mode(?)

    Am I right??

  • @stealthinsweden nope, it is one of the original maglite LED's from 2006 i believe

  • @dieselducy I have the newer 2AA mini mag multi-mode, with Rebel LED, some say it´s rated almost 70lumens, It´s bright enough for me. But the new XL100 seems to be very nice, but I like my 2AA...

  • @stealthinsweden I don't think it's the 2aa multimode too....it's too dim to be the 2aa LED multimode :D

  • I was Skyping with you during this (Battery Life Test).

"Look! It lights the police car coming to my house, as I demo this light outside, in the dark!" :)

You'd probably get a longer light if you used regular batteries, since rechargables are known to not last as long, but rechargables are cheaper in the long run.

    Good review!

  • Hey, nice review mate!

    Is this flashlight waterproof??

  • Great video, i watched all of it.

I have to large maglite my self. The small one uses 2 D-batteries and the large on uses 3 D-batteries

You can see my big MAG-LITE here.

    watch?v=fAVmI0KHIFw

  • That is definitely a unique flashlight, and a very good review too.

  • interesting, I had no idea how many modes this had.

  • Great video dieselducy, very thorough. Looks like a great light, I could see that being perfect for an emergency tool in a vehicle. As far as battery life I wonder if Mag will ever try including their own integrated rechargeable battery so you can just plug the light into the wall without opening it up. Still 5-201 hours is a pretty nice range.

  • you have a nes?

  • @thecooldude9999 yep and it still works :)

  • @dieselducy i have one but it is iffy :(

  • Cookie's getting big now!

  • I LOL'd when you said "We'll do it in the dark".

  • Good review!

  • nice vid mate very detaild

  • I got my xl100 about a week ago it is very unique as far as interface goes i am highly impressed with it
