  • Never the one to rain on anybody's parade but this sounds way too much like 'Adagio For Strings' by Albinoni. Just saying.. just saying, no need to circle the wagons. :-)

  • The piece of music never resolves. It's beautiful but it's torture at the same time. Perfect in other words for the film.

  • love is an illusion but not at the same time, more comparable with a new PC. If you've bought it like everything is fresh and new and beautiful. But after a few years, that feeling is gone and you look for a better model...

    Great Soundtrack!

  • Most beautiful movie ever made, with the help of this soundtrack.

  • Life is an illusion...

  • this is the beautiful moment when they take the shortcut holding hands, Diane is heartbroken and so in love with Camilla in the scene...

  • The perfect song to a perfect movie!

  • @MomoOhneBand well said.

  • got the chills..... so beautiful

  • The music is perfect! It shows that also melancholia can be a very beautiful emotion!

  • Badalamenti comes from Mars

  • spettacolare

  • .....

  • So beautiful!

    Angelo Badalamenti is awesome!

he had an influence on Akira Yamaoka.

  • Silencio....

  • @bescheidenheit1 no hay banda

  • So beautiful, so intense, so full of promises, so fragile, so lovely, so sad, so mysterious...

    Great music from ANGELO BADALAMENTI.

  • Great. makes me think on the soundtrack of the curdish/turkish movie Yol, which i love.

  • i really like how one commenter describes it as ( helplessly tragic ) , as i listened to this music , i felt the inevitability of tragedy so strongly . it's horrific , sad , calm , and mysterious

  • This piece of music playing as Diane and Camilla walk up the secret path is the greatest marriage of image and sound in the history of cinema.

  • @Burrisant

I couldn't agree more. That scene is amazing.

  • 2:09 still blows my mind every single time.

  • Best film ever made.

  • All hail Naomi, Laura, David and Angelo. I like all genres of film if they're quality. Surreal, transcendent, noir, bittersweet, hypnotic: this masterpiece floored me the first time I saw it. Like an indescribable spiritual shift, it fixed in my head and heart. Regardless of genre, one of the very best films ever made. Watts and Lynch et al. are true artists.

  • Really a long time since I've seen Mullholland Drive, but the lesbian relationship and the "personality shift" stays in my mind. Alongside with the beautiful music of Angelo Bandalamenti, it's even more beutiful than Twin Peaks. :-)

  • Just wonderful. I have no words to describe this beautiful piece of music...

  • this music is freakin beautiful

  • fantastic.

  • Along with the main theme, this is fantastic scoring. Profoundly moving and deep.

  • Such a genius piece of musi!. Thank you so much for uploading!

  • wonderful sublime sonic bliss...achingly brilliant. the movie, the director and the composer...are beyound genius.

  • From the opening shot of Mulholland Drive, I knew I was in for something remarkably special.

It is without a doubt one of the greatest films of all time.

  • no matter how many times i have watched that film i never grow weary of it.

  • One of the most powerful pieces of music I've ever listened to. That crescendo at the 2 minute mark makes me feel like I'm about to burst into tears EVERY time.

  • I couldn't agree more. Beautiful, no words can describe it.

  • This film and Blue Velvet beckon to ones emotions in the purest way, such as music does.

  • what a masterfully composed piece of music

beautiful, tragic, epic in its scope - brings me to tears

i adore every piece of music he's ever done for lynch - his music is as integral as the pictures on the screen

  • so strong and deep as the sorrow...

  • he did a badass score for twin peaks and indigo prophecy

  • so beautiful and moving

  • amazing...

  • A pure masterpiece.

  • fucking brilliant.

  • Bought this on itunes and can't stop listening to it.

  • Desde Mexico, from Mexico, Angelo Badalamenti, eres grande, you're biggest, y para ti 1michelemichele1 , and for you 1michelemichele1 tTks to share us

  • 2:10 -> Goosebumps

    2:49 -> Shivers

Tragic yet beautiful song. Still try hard not to cry. Definitely, the whole movie background summarized in a single theme.

  • 'short cut'. from my favorite scene in the movie. camilla takes diane's hand and walk her up to the party in this labrynth of trees up that hill. not a word is spoken, yet you see diane's love for her...the best movie ever!!

  • <333333333

  • Amazing. The bit at 2:10 that recurs in the film is probably my favourite piece of music. It's tragic.

  • Agreed. Just beautiful.

  • I think those few chord changes might be the most emotive thing I've ever seen, heard or felt. Can we be friends?

  • Oh God, yes. The moment when Diane and Camilla's images are projected over Los Angeles at night? Incredibly haunting and, for me, the most deeply moving part of the film.

  • very heavy.and deep, but there is something...nobody hear the hope ?

  • When exactly? O_O

  • around 1:45 yeah i sensed it a bit.

  • lol

  • i was serious. the film deals with hopes, dreams of success so it's only logical

  • True ... and the sad thing here is a dream that never come true..

  • so sad :-(

  • What a deep song. So calm and myterious, full of sadness and helpless tragic. I love the love theme of this song...

Mulholland Drive - my favourite movie.

    Love it!

  • masterpiece! the saddest song I have ever heard

  • Increible, este soundtrack y esta pelicula son lo mejor del cine en la historia!!!
