  • This is a tune from the Island of Halki called the tune of dawn or in Greek the skopo tis Avgis Ilias Anastasiadis is playng the lyra and his brother Nikos the Laouto .They are both from Olympos Karpathos.

    But we do have this dance as well...it's called ZERVOS...but we dance it in a faster motion and bounching steps and body shaking

  • This is not from Crete. I am pretty sure it is from the isle of Carpathos, if not that then Kasos but definitely something from the Dodecanese.
