What I think he'll do if wait to sign back with the Leafs an see how their changes and development are going becfore coming back. If progress seems to be lacking, he may very well not be back.

He didn't mean it that way, he was strictly referring to the Swedish Elite League and the lack of scoring there. They play a defensive style game compared to the NHL.

The players you named are all the very best on their respective teams. Lidstrom is arguably the second best defenseman ever. Mats is the greatest Leaf ever. Without Alfie the Sens were royally screwed.

Exactly. I think the problem with Brunnstrom is everybody seems to be expecting him to be a top line superstar. I doubt he will be. BUT he could be a great 2nd or 3rd line scorer, and who couldn't use that? If he comes over and gets like 40pts a season, I'd be happy.
