DP-28 is only really useful when you have sleight of hand because otherwise you're killed if you don't kill them with the first clip. And the MP40 is at it's best with double tap. Without sleight of hand it's best to use either submachine guns, or if you must use a machine gun use the BAR. And without double tap the thompson is the killer (but make sure you always have a full clip as it runs out of rounds quickly)

By just gun stats the springfield is the best gun it the game. . . . if you put stopping power on it it 1 shots everytime and already has better accuracy than the ptrs, which makes it the best gun! PS MP40 is by far the best imo because it is the most versatile. You can have a setup that destroys ppl from any range, and you can customize it to your liking without hampering much. Try using it close range with a silencer instead of the hip fire perk, it will leave you with an extra slot to use when u play on small maps and you can still hip fire. I play almost only FFA tho
