I'm not denying that she's really talented. I love her voice, I love her music. But she is FAKE as hell. Or, I don't know if fake is the right word.... but god she tries SO hard to be rock 'n roll, in every interview she emphasizes that they're a rock band, that it's loud music, she dresses like that and attracts attention to it. She says she doesn't give a fuck but she does. She tries to be so badass, dresses like a hooker, flashes at every concert. It's just pathetic. Just my opinion.

Momsens songs as altetnative rock not rock n roll. That response about Factory Girl is kinda weirs also, she says it was inspired ,or some other word, by what shes experienced and seen.... What has she seen as a child actress?? Kinda suspicious in the kinda world shes been living and raised in.

I think it's great how she tries to make people hear rock music, because these days it's not the most popular kind of music. I'm not saying rock is dead, but it's not the same as it used to be. I know a lot of people who doesn't like rock n roll music and they hear this band and they like it and they start hearing old bands wich is great. So I give her a lot of credit

You know what, I'm a huge Evanescence Fan, and I never cared about this chick which I knew came from a popular show and thought she was just "acting" to be a "rock star". I thought she was being paid to be just another musical product that emerged from a tv show that played poppy songs dressed in leather with a hint of lame rock and a lot of eyeshadow. I thought it was a shame for Ev to have such support act. So happy they proved me wrong! And I'm happy they're keeping the heart of rock alive!

@kaarankin69 They`re very talented, but their lyrics are quite depressive and "my inmortal" seriously is like listening to a Celine Dion song. I was inlove with that chick(amy lee) back then when they started cuz she is hot and has an amazing voice, but i do remember kids considered that Evanescence murdered the NU metal scene cuz it used to be heavier: deftones, korn, kittie(group of girls btw), coal chamber, rage against the machine, fear factory, etc...

@Rejito They never ruined Nu metal. They were the most popular band between 2003-2007. The bands you mentioned are no where near Heavy. They are all melodic Rock bands and have a few metal riffs in their songs doesnt mean they are heavy. The only band i can think off right now that has "ruined" NU metal is linkin park their first 2 albums were the best shit ever their last Two album were so shit its not even worth listening to it shouldn't even be classified rock.

@kaarankin69 not that heavy, but heavy in the mainstreem NU metal scene, NM is not that heavy anyways compared with trash or death. But of course those bands(at least their first cds) are way heavier. You haven´t even heard em. My inmortal(popular song)= sounds like Celine Dion=pop. Ev were VERY popular, but trust me when someone says "i usually don´t like rock but i do like this band" is because there´s something popish in it, thats why it can reach the masses. I agree linkin park suck.

@Rejito Mate My immortal was just one piano Ballad song in Evs Fallen album and it no way sounds like Celine dion type of music nor it is even a Pop song. you want to know what Pop artist are?? Lady gaga, rihanna katey perry, thats all Pop. If there's a female lead singer in a Rock band its doesn't mean its always Pop look at lacuna oil they are a heavy metal band and they have a female lead singer tell me if thats pop.

I like amy, she´s got a beautiful voice but she sounds kind of....ballad, or soft rock..., and their lyrics are very depressive, i mean every band has it´s depressive or soft song but not the entire album..but i love lead girl singers, they kick ass, try Angela Gossow (lead singer of arc enemy Death metal), i love kittie (they kicked some ass), also the distillers.
