such an inspiration, I hate that at 16 I just can't bring myself to tell my mum that I'm gay, my grandparents are extremely homophobic and it kills me every day, Im just glad I at least managed to pluck up the courage to tell my dad and hopefully soon I'll manage to tell my mum too

My friend try to convert me to catholic ever since we were 9, and by that time neigthr she or I new I was gay.. she did it out of love.. she was told that is you didnt belive in god you were going to hell, and she didnt want her best friend going to hell. Now, 20 years later, she stand by me. And my father, who told me that if he had new that she try to convert me wouldnt allow us to be friends, cant stand her gay dougther..

Aw man! Thanks so much, that was so kind. I'm actually doing pretty good -- usually live in the gay-friendly city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but just staying in the suburbs with my Christian family for the holidays. My strategy is: hang out with friends and go to parties as much as possible, and when in house, watch top model on youtube. Probably not the best strategy but it's working for me. Ha ha
