  • Jim(mr.X green hatchman): Blaze my lovely dear. -puts out arms to hug blaze-

Blaze: What?! No damn flowers get the @%#$ off my elevator! -does a reverse back kick-

Jim(mr.X green hatchman): NO!!!!! -gets his ass kicked off the elevator- YOU BITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

Blaze: And never come back on here again. -goes to the next level on the elevator-

  • one of THEE best game levels ever :D

  • Ha, we used to call this the Royal Rumble level; throw them over the top. lol.

  • i play this game every day awsome

  • Thumbs up!!

the best level on this game!!!!!

thanks for posting and the flashbacks!

  • GO BLAZE...... BLAZE ROCK

  • wow i remember when i was a kid on my megadrive i simply played this stage like this. blaze, master at far throwing lol

  • Oh god, I don't think this game has ages as well as its sequels, but listen to that music...it's hard to believe this came from a Sega Genesis game from the early 90s! One of my friends had this game when I was little, and his dad came home and yelled to "turn that music off!"...the music in this decades old game is THAT good!

  • @Blactor Your comment makes no sense.

  • @thangQanime

...especially if you can't read English.

  • @Blactor nice try, but u fail. your comment really made no sense . you said your friend's dad came home and shouted for you to turn the music off. so how is that a testament to how good the song is? horrible example. also your english in that comment was horrible as well "...the music in this decades old game is THAT good!" wtf did you GO to school? one last thing your comment that you couldnt believe this was a sega song is stupid because everyone knows sega has good music producers

  • @thangQanime

My friend's dad--who had an aversion to anything sounding like rap--had the TV hooked up to his stereo, thus giving the music an added kick. So, when my friend's dad came home and heard this game's soundtrack, he thought we were listening to music that he didn't like, and didn't realize we were playing a game. THAT'S how great the game's music is.

  • @Blactor I want you to read what you wrote in your first comment and then reread what you said recently. Were we supposed to discern all those details from your shoddily written comment? I think not. Also there are enough other good songs on this system that WEREN'T done by Koshiro to debunk everything you said about how astounding his work is here. You just dont know shit about them and therefore should stop implying you do.

  • @thangQanime

Secondly, it's well known that the Genesis has a shitty sound card, so it's amazing that Yuzo Koshiro was able to get the results that he did, so early in the life cycle of the machine. It doesn't matter how good the "music producers" are, the sound quality on the Genesis is still ass.

Third, any person who types "one last thing your comment that you couldn't believe blah blah music producers" really can't talk shit about other people's grammar or sentence structure.

    Troll.

  • @Blactor Oh and nice try setting up a false equivalency with my grammar and yours. There's a difference between leaving out a few commas and just sounding like a fucking idiot who bangs his head on a keyboard to type comments. "I don't think this game has ages as well as its sequels," has ages? absolutely riveting. perfect example of someone who doesn't read what they type.

  • lol @ 1:21

    That dude is definitely deceased.

  • I always wondered if anyone on the ground was ever alarmed by the pile of bodies that wound up getting tossed off that elevator. Must've been pretty messy down there, lol.

  • GREAT MUSIC !! GREAT GAME !! (2)

  • GREAT MUSIC !! GREAT GAME !!

  • CLASSIC.... I love Blaze in this one... in the others i use AXel. i got to have this game again

  • did u cheat cuz ur moving rllly fast

  • This isn't cheating. It's Tools Assitance. With tools like Frame-Advance and Save States you can create a entertaining video.

  • Pwnd xD

I may start playing this again now ^_^

Never did get round to very hard ;)

  • This is the best song in da game!

  • Yeah, i agree 100%. This track kicks major @ss!!

  • i played all street of rage why didnt sega release on ps2 or ps3 thsi game do have alot of fan base we grow playing it

  • i copied your Greenalink poster. This is credit.

  • i kinda liked it

  • Man if I ever get good at my art and design, I'm gonna remake this game. The music, sound effects, character looks, are all gonna be the same, but I'll have a sweet FMV intro where Adam, Blaze, and Axel beat the living shit out of a bunch of punks separately introducing each hero (like FFX2's intro)! Plus the characters would say stuff when they beat a punk up, or the punk might cuss when he croaks! It would be fucking sweeeeet!

  • see Streets of Rage Remake. That's a very good fan made game.

  • ok so your saying you did use the saves states as some form of cheat so taht you wouldnt make mistakes... i see where your talent comes from...

  • this game is just classic, i remember playing this when i FIRST got my Sega back in the 90s :D good stuff

  • bull shit ive played that game since i was 5 years old man and the charaters dont move that quick thats a mod ...

  • It's not a mod silly. Have you ever heard TAS. It uses slow motion and save states to prevent mistskes, making the movie entertaining and flawless.

    go to Tasvideos(.)org for details.

  • You you're good at genesis games

  • Blaze is definitely the best character in this game

  • blaze is best

  • One advantage Sega had over Nintendo was that they used some pretty cool music for their games.

  • Man!!! You're so right!! Sega ruled with their music choice!!!

  • oh man, memories !!

perfect music, i remember playing this with 2, and

    throwing eachother on the enemies

  • Using the special was the best part

Camera goes all the way down under a building, and the blast somehow gets all the way up and falls on the elevator. good stuff.

  • I love the music to this stage. Thank you so much for posting this video!! :)

  • the music and gameplay was ahead of its time...

  • Music was years ahead of its time. This stage was so friggan cool too, although using your special move was a bit far fetched.

  • The special move was just to make sure that this strange moment (Camera Scrolling) was a Streets of Rage Classic.

  • No damage and doing a variety of tricks/silly stuff.

  • What exactly is a 'super play' considered? I may consider labeling my videos differently if I knew XD

  • They always do it when I've played it.

Some of them, but not all of them do the dummy kneel.

If they do the dummy kneel, I always use grab attacks to defeat them quickly.

  • What a game! This has always been my favourite level too! Thanks for postin the vid!

By the way - I dont know if it is just me but have them characters dressed in black always kneeled down when they are attacked? They do it on my version too but I'm sure I remember they never used to?
