  • Get Pockie Ninja Hacks Here : pockieninjahacks(dot)com at this website u can get level hacks , god mode hacks , golden bean generators and loads loads more for Free!!

  • This was my favourite game in the day.

  • Back then they had almost no tools, and the hardware wasn't very good, but somehow they made some of the best games ever, maily because the entertainment level is very high.

Today game companies had a lot of tools and good hardware, but what do we get. Crap games with 0 precent enteertainment value.

  • Hey does the Commodore-64 work on every type of TV? I heard that it only works on UK televisions...

  • @ksj439 Depends what C64 you have. An American one will work on NTSC TVs and UK / Aussie one works on PAL. (through the a/v connection) or you can just tune it in to the antenia connection.

  • @ksj439 well i tryed on my cousins tv its also work on asian television like akira , sharp and sony :D

  • I saw that you have the disk box of The Last Ninja 2 for C64. But do you have the disk box of The Last Ninja from the C64. I must be cool to have a real box with the face of Armakuni The Last Ninja.

  • @MyNameIsArmakuni I do, but the box is part of a collection. called "The In Crowd" :)

  • @TotalMK The In Crowd by Ocean 1988 collection of 8 classic Arcade games. Karnov, Combat School, Gryzor, Barbarian, Platoon, The Last Ninja, Target Renegade and Predator (nice collection). Is it rare the disk box of The Last Ninja for the C64. I have only the tape/cassette case of The Last Ninja with two tapes/cassettes in complete mint condition for the C64. I'm big fan of The Last Ninja and the Commodore 64C was my first game experience in 1986.

  • how the fuck do you punch

  • press and HOLD fire then press up,left or right to punch. Press down to kick, or up-right to parry, down left/right to pickup items. F3/F4 selects items space chooses weapons.

  • i dont see the point in buying a commodore 64 specifically for this game when you can download it on the wii for next to nothing

  • lol you think the wii was out when the C64 was out? I have had my C64 for 20 years and guess what Australia doesn't get the C64 library for some bullshit reason :/

  • If you want i can sent you a cd with c64 games and emulators!

  • No thanks...I can get those off the net if I need them :)

  • ps has anyone made a good remake of this that i could download,i soo want to play this again!!!thanks!!!

  • @racefaceec90 buy a wii and download it on the virtual console :)

  • man one of my all time fav ever games!!!along with bruce lee,ik+,way of exploding fist, bangkok knights, bobby bearing, mercenary,i could go on for hours!!!i so miss my c64!!!

  • I loved this game!

It was one of the few games that the C64 ran well.

The music was nicely done, especially level 4, which was creepy (since you were in the dungeons with ghosts, skeletons and a giant spider which will kill you instantly!)

  • Level 4 is a fucking work of art :D

The music and accompaning visuals are stunning it really sets the tone well.

  • TMK Poop reference: "Where there smoke they pinch back."-The Enclosed Instruction Book XD

  • WTF...I have the instructions, the smoke bomb clue is: "There's no smoke without fire."

  • I thought you said, "Where there's smoke there's fire." Like Hotel Mario and like youtube poop intros they make fun of that and make Mario say "Where there's smoke they pinch back." I refrered to the instruction book as Hotel Mario's enclosed instruction book. :P

  • Fuck Hotel Mario...no one cares about that peice of shit...this is The Last Ninja man!!!

  • I agree, I hope you don't think I like Hotel Mario as a game, because I would never play something as bad as that.

  • Admit it...you love Hotel Mario and Hotel Luigi and even Hotel Waluigi. It's ok you can tell me...

  • I watch Youtube poops of that, ytps make fun of how lame hotel mario is. I never played any cd-i game. BTW, There is no Hotel Luigi and Hotel Waluigi.

  • Dude you havn't played Hotel Luigi and Hotel Waluigi? Man you are living in the dark times!!

  • I know right :o

  • To quote CD-I Link "I won!" Mah Boi, this victory is what all true warriors strive for!

  • what i hate are people that compare games like chrono trigger and final fantasy to games like the last ninja. without games like the last ninja chrono trigger and final fantasy would not exist.

  • i was so happy when i saw that this game was brought on to the Wii virtual console!

  • I remember trying to line up the flips across the lava and water and fucking up or falling in. LOL. such a great game. I never knew the guy committed suicide though, thats freaking cool. MAN this game ranks very high on C64. I loved Archon, Racing Destruction set and Goonies too..

  • Wow... probably one of the best games I played as a kid, up there with Myth. The graphics, music and atmosphere are quite remarkable.

  • Haha. I hate the second guy too ;)

great review, I guess it's hard for people to imagine how good TLN was; the music, the isometric "3D"-world, and as you pointed out very well, the fact that you had just "scenery"-screens that build up the atmosphere, only one opponent per screen, etc. This was INSANELY different from any other games at the time, and when you were used to nothing else, it was very immersive!

TLN, the philosophy behind it, and the music, will always remember it.

  • real nostalgy was nice years ım 80's generations ı dont forget...:::)))

  • TMK what is your favourite last ninja game

  • Last Ninja 2 for sure! Ninja in New York...priceless.

  • Hey TMK tell Angry Video Game Nerd to do a review on Mortal Kombat Special Forces, please! That would be hilarious!

    Please, for me?

  • AVGN is extremly busy with reviews he has a backlist. On top of that...I don't really know the guy, so even if I sent him an email it would be no better than you sending it...so feel free to email him yourself and request he review MK:SF. :)

  • Thanks I just found his website and sent him one! Thanks!

  • Oh btw the reason I asked you was that I saw YOUR Special Forces review and I thought it was hilarious. I just thought you could like guest star or something if AVGN ever did one. That would be awesome!

  • Don't get me wrong it would be a honor to do a review with James, but he is real busy man...and I don't know if he does PS1 games either, on top of that he is in the US and im in Australia which makes things real hard.

  • Ninja vanish 4life!

  • WOW...I thought I was the only one who loved and remembered these games. It is true when they say its not graphics that make a game its the content and gameplay. Kudos dude!!!
