Okay is that the reason? How were they superstitious when they were there witnessing it? That's a straw man. You know we shouldn't take it that serious so don't act ignorant, I don't obviously feel that way. Sabbath was for the Jewish people we are Gentiles but God does want us to have reverence for that day. Worshiping other gods... death was sometimes the penalty for that sin just like we kill people for murder. Who kills homosexuals anyways? What knowledge would that be anyway?

So, if the Sabbath was for Jews and not for Gentiles, does that mean we can ignore the other 9 commandments as well? Are you really equating killing someone with worshipping other gods? He has to honor their wishes and the only other choice is :Not Saved. so they choose to go to Hell by that choice. But God don;t want no one to be lost, that is why He sent Jesus so that no one has to go. But He never took our freewill.....I am sorry!!! But people do choose to go to heaven or Hell. Our sin is what kills us...Not God!!! think of like this. sin is like a seed. when it bears fruit its not very good. But Jesus went to the cross and bore all of our sins and griefs, and sicknesses. so that if we put our trust in him He removes all that sin that we have carried and makes us clean and spotless. then when God the Father looks at us he dont see our sins...he sees someone who has trusted in Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that takes away all our sins as far as the east is from the west.
