i no Ervey he's my cousin, he has a recording studio outside his house, which is where he's playing at right now. He lives in Roma, Tx, i live in Rio Grande City, Tx, which is 14 miles from his house. His dad and my dad are in a band called "Super Odisea" they are very famous in the Rio Grande Valley and Texas. So yea he did not wake his neighbors up at all you can hardly hear anything when u get up close to the studio itself.

this song is in 12/8, the drums are a 4/4 rock beat... it's ashuffle and needs to be played as one.. i'm only commenting cos this is in the top videos site..just so people know...pretty much every bar in the drum part is a fill... you would be killed as a studio musician, prog rock would let you get away with it, but even the big prog drummers hold down a solid groove.

Very good set, but it is overkill on the fills. The drums provide backup to a song. It isn't a solo. :) You don't need cymbals on every other beat, either, but don't back off on them too much. It is a good accent to the song. Just tone it down a notch. Now, all someone has to do is arrange a decent bass line, maybe some keyboards, and you are good to go! Still, with respect to Ervey... Mia.. you are ready for our solo career.
