  • Most of this houses are owned by investors, corrupt politicians, Ghanaians abroad and one or two hard working Ghanaians. We don't even have children's parks in Ghana...

  • It is my dream to live hear! and as a Ghanaian doctor living abroad, my dreams will come true soon

  • Now that's good living right there.

  • Tens of millions of White and Black Americans live in shacks, in little towns, in the middle of nowhere. The myth of a Golden American Promise Land the World , with wide streets, mansions and six figure jobs for all comers is just a myth. Ghana is fast becoming a middle class nation, on par with Costa Rica and other nations.

  • I have recently been to Ghana. March 2011. This neighborhood and others nearby are simple fantastic. As nice as any homes in the US. I am seriously considering moving there part time. They also have some really nice condos and a hugh Mall in Accra with many modern stores, restaurants and movie theatres. I am glad that I saw this side of Africa. They have Plays at the 1500 seat National theatre that is always worth going to see a good show. Ghana will surprise you.

  • I am doing a Documentary in Ghana from December 2011 to January 2012 ! I will be posting it on my page subscribe and keep posted. It Will show all the sites from Accra to Kumasi, Rich to poor and give a view of Ghana that is not seen enough.

  • nice houses

  • life to me is like marriage for richer or for poorer. No matter what your background or your economic background be happy you are alive. Yes it is nice to have money and all the luxuries but what is life if you do not struggle a little and learn a lot ? I love Ghana for its rich natural resources, its culture, and its people so no matter if you are rich or poor in Ghana you are alive but i would love to see my people do better and for those who have made it hats off to you.Ghana one love.

  • I went throughout this place in Ghana, it's a residential estate. I also filmed driving thru, although they are prudent of one filming these people houses. At the end of the vid, u turned into the parking lot of the estate headquarters. There, a woman showed us a model house. The inside is more impeccable than the outside, we managed to film a glimpse but the lady quickly became angered. Anyhow, these homes are on the standard of the rich & famous internationally. Thx for posting

  • where is dit?

  • As stated by previous comments this is only how a small minority of Ghanaians live. However, as the years continue there is an ever growing middle class and the percentage of people living in absolute poverty, is not as high as one previously might have thought. This video is just to give light to the fact that there are nice places in Ghana. Too many people consistently solely look at the negatives without the positives. This is one of the basis that us as Africans are not progressing as fast

  • DAMNN.. those people are chillin like nobody's freaking business ! I'm soo jealous lol; I'm Ghanaian but I was born and raised in Toronto -_- I've been to Ghana only once and I feel like I don't belong here anymore.. especially after seeing this video lol thanks alot

  • dude i live in colorado n up to now even ghanians born here still claim africans live on trees. the media has messed us up, so each tym they meet africans they be lyk welcome to a civilized country. so u see its no more abt loosing power or water down there cuz up here we experience power loss n oh we also experience water out just lyk 4 hours or sumtyms more

  • lol this is just 0.2% of ghana...70% of ghanaians ent got water and light stll..be real plz

  • @kobeoseijnr where da fuck r u frm? but ur name shows u r ghanain, why arent u proud of this vid? i mean arent u tired of western media showing dirty places in africa?man u r so uncultured!!!! no offense

  • thank you for this, we know that there are poor people everywhere, but they (western media) that generally feeds us with images of africa would never provide us with this. Thank you so much, a proud viewer from Jamaica.

  • Wow! I will be visiting Ghana with my school this year. Nice!

  • can u just drive into these neighbourhood I am thinking of visiting when I visit ghana?

  • we have a house down here!

  • if u do answer the question above

  • I'm failing to see what's so great about Trasacco Valley and what makes it stand out from East Legon, Airport residential Area, Cantoments or any other high end residential area. This place looks nothing like their brochure or what they have on their website.

  • nice houses

  • You bet.

  • drive through the shitty areas. show the rest of the world how the majority lives in poverty

  • the world has seen enough of the poorer areas. its time we let the world know that the impression of living on tree houses and bushes isnt all about africa. the whiteman only shows his/her best parts making it look as though theirs is heaven. have u never realised that africans overate the western world too much and that whitemen underate africa too much as well? the gap is actually closer than people think

  • yea ok buddy. The average ghanaian can't afford any of the houses depicted in this video. I've been to ghana and I've seen it with my own eyes. My parents have a house in an affluent area near cape coast but I can tell you first hand, the majority live in houses that have no plumbing or running water. It's ironic how this video chooses not to depict the average ghanian and their house.

  • How can africans not "overrate" the west when the conditions they are in are terrible and their own government ignors them.

  • Comment removed

  • metagear89 you are just a big ignorant fool

  • You can suck my dick if that makes you feel any better.

P.S you have herpes you nasty fuck.

  • Haven´t you and the world seen enough of the dirty areas in Africa? Shit, the western media portray those images since press media was invented. No wonder westerners thought and some still think Africans live on trees. Are you happy about that? This video shows the other side of the story and am happy its from my home country, GHANA.

  • i second that!! I LIVEW IN TRASsACO!!

  • u just a dumb ignorant hussling kid. I will grab u if u can ever afford to buy a ticket home.

  • You will grab me? Bitch I will stab and shoot you before you could even touch me faggot.

P.S I can more than afford to buy a ticket back you little bitch. I go there every summer for vacation. If you think you're tough, Give me your address so I can find your ass when I'm there.

  • cause that is the only thing you want to see, if you dont like seeying africans in wealth then dont watch this video

  • o0o kewl my grandpa has a house there its on da accra tema motorway

  • but yeah, this citys definetley were its at. and for the record franciscan, you dont have to worry about such things if you just just PROTECTION. (both condoms and malaria pills, oh and dont forget that mosquito spray). im a londoner but ive been vacationing in accra since i was a "lil" kid. im definetley gonna have to move over there someday because the prentiousness of life in the U.K is bordering on a full scale theater show.

"dont get me wrong . i LOVE asthetics. but this is too just much

  • it nice, but they should maybe have some restrictions in the area, in terms of house colour, and gardening.

some of those houses were extremly garish and tacky.

  • KWASIA

  • so beautiful i have been there before

  • dick head

  • u can get aids everywhere in this world if u are not careful. as for the malaria there are drugs to treat and prevent it. dont let it seem as though its a horific place to live. we have lived here for most of our lives and are still healthy, happy people. I LUV MY COUNTRY AND MY CONTINENT.
