jg is a chinese company which makes the actual gun. Echo 1 is the american division which takes the gun, cleans it up, and upgrades it slightly. its worth the 20 extra dollars in my opinion to buy the echo 1.

JG tend to use a Grey plastic on the body where echo use a black

after that there is no difference save for trades

they are exactly the same in fact Echo 1 Buys JG (Jing Gong) guns and sells them under the Echo 1 Name... so if u cant decide what to buy JG or Echo 1 it really doesn't matter but usually JG sells a little cheaper...

this is not my video but i have the gun the flash hider is 14mm counterclock wise but it will be very hard to remove because echo1 glues their flash hiders. but you will be able to put on any standard flash hider or silencer

The gun Should have come with an adhesive strip. If not you could use spray-on adhesive glue, But you better be sure that's where you want it to stay, cause that stuff stays.

Hey, i got a few questions.

1:Im thinking of getting this gun for my BD(which is in 2 months) and i was also thinking of getting a AK-74 to and IDK what to get.

2:What type of mount are u using?

3:Is the Bipod adjustable, im think of using this gun as a sniper and i think I may need a adjustable bipod.

Get this gun if your wanting to snipe, if you are infantry go AK. The bipod is not adjustable, but is free with the gun , so thats a +.

thanks, say, can this gun take a psg-1 mag, they are basically the same design so it might be able to take one. This makes me wonder because i got a M16 and with a standard mag, its hard to snipe in prone because of the size.(even though i havent sniped with it and its busted now.)

The PSG-1 may fit in it, but the housing for the Mag is so hollow. so you my be able to get the mag in but might not be able to get it out because the PSG-1 mag measures only about 1&1/2" in height.

Can you mount a JBU 9.5" mock supressor to this gun?

Your barrel slides 4.5 inches into the interior of the suppressor before the suppressor threads onto your 14mm counter clock-wise (CCW) barrel tip. Even though this suppressor is designed for the M4 it does work on practically any other rifle as long as it has at least 4.5 inches of its barrel exposed

I'm pretty sure the flash hider comes off. I've tried a few ways that I know, but they have'nt worked. I think my gun is just stubborn.

go with the m16 a4 if your a small guy, Cause this G3 is huge and pretty heavy, so if your not a knida heafty guy, you won't want this gun.
