Its a freedom feeling, not a sexual thing. So when the feel free and pair it with the cause they are voicing more will be heard it should seem. Try swiming in a pool naked and see how it feels. Like freedom. Its not x rated.
I have done this protest ride for 4 years with my girlfriend and daughter, it is fun, good natured and educational both about oil and to promote a positive attitude to bodies to counter shame. If you have a problem with wholesome nudity then you have a 'problem' wholesome, non sexualised nudity empowers both sexes and affirms all that is good and pure in Nature....... WIKI the WNBR and join us next year
"...if we tried to do this in the US" the WNBR wiki lists 55 locations in the US. It is a "World" Naked Bike Ride running around the world. And, re Glasgow, this year I read people from Glasgow went to Edinburgh - not surprising if the report of Glaswegian attitudes is accurate.

Ok, you just try and come to glasgow city centre and attempt it on your own or with friends(As you apper to be defending it so much)watch you get rugby tackled by the nearest policeman, and quite rightly. My point was that this is not normal, ethical,or moral behaviour. It is against the law outwith these perverted "Protests" You can compare this with the march to legalise cannabis a few yrs back. It is illegal and damaging, but the "protest" allowed it. Ridiculous, you argument holds no water
That's probably why the bike ride took place in Edinburgh. Glasgow is far too intolerant and closed-minded to have it there... plus too many fanatics like yourself.

Fanatic? Im the fanatic? What, a clothes wearing fanatic? Or maybe a designer fanatic?! Look man, youve just demonstrated yet again your argument is batshit. You have lost, your are torn, you are on par with peados, apes and swingers. Ive ended u, ive put a cancel on you, your a ninkumpoop if ever such a thing exists. You refer to me as fanatical, dude i think your the one with the starkers issue, the nudity problem. You have just labelled and tarred the glasgow population, u are end
You have demonstrated your massive lack of understanding and compassion. How you can liken this bike ride to criminal activity is beyond my understanding. Even your rhetoric is hateful and angry... it is a shame that people who wish to be involved in this bike ride (held all over the world I might add) end up being berated by such as yourself. If this troubles you so much perhaps you need to start asking the question why?!?

Liberating? A sorry excuse for the sexually deranged and perverted minds. Id like them to try that in glasgow city centre on a sat night. Even the men would get ragg dolled. Pathetic
No one said you couldn't speak your mind, just prepare to be called a moron when you speak like one. Funny how you feel you should be allowed your freedoms yet insist that others (such as the cyclists in this video for example) should be repressed and condemned.

do you have children, if u do, would this kind of exposure be morally, ethically, acceptable in front of them? Is this clean safe fun when Britain has an enourmous teenage pregnancy and other sexually inspired issues and crimes? You cannot defend this behaviour in any righteous manner
Alluding that a demonstration with naked cyclists who are promoting green living and carbon reduction results in teen pregnancy is laughable and completely missing the point of this protest. Perhaps you believe that this is a perverse, morally unethical activity but most mature, level-headed people would disagree with you. More sexually explicit/suggestive and provocative material can be found in modern popular culture (TV, movies, music, etc) than this; so, no I don't find this protest immoral!

Yup, immoral "activities" for immoral people. I suppose animals behave as animals. If this is the norm accepted by most "level headed" people, why is this behaviour not accepted in daily society?Infact, it is a crime to go starkers in public. And the purpose of this is to promote green living? By the comments on this page, i see more of a sexual undertone from observers and cyclists alike. I take it there was an age limit to taking part in this?If so, why didnt that apply to the pedestrians

There is no better way to convince the public that your cause is batshit then to take off your clothes, paint yourself like a twat and ride around naked.
I rather think that if I tried to ride through London on a bike with no clothes on the Police wouldnt stop the traffic and give me an escort, they'd probably tazer me and beat the sh**t out of me!
Thank God I'm a reincarnationist. Im coming back as a ladies bicycle seat. **coughs** plus its a liberating carnival atmosphere, and...uh..uh..yes its green too...good fer the environment.
