Disco never died! It was dance music! It morphed & changed itz name, & now comes in many flavaz: Tribal, Progressive, Deep Soul, Chill, & Disco, just 2 name a few. Itz called HOUSE! So Disco will never die! Dance Music 4 life!!
Disco was still big outside the world , in fact in 1982 , there was an indian movie called "disco dancer " which was a huge hit . I would say by 1983 disco was gone.
@ramboram03 I agree, Disco music fade away to memory lane in 1983, it was somehow replaced by the High Energy trend which became the ultimate dance music of the 80's
Laberge's 'So Much More' samples this song and provides a really laidback groove that's alternative to this classic disco sound, and respectable in its own right. Cool shit
yea I guarantee someone will sample this but nobody ever acts as if they made it themselves, producers that sample always give credit to the orginator, there is nothing wrong with sampling as long as you dont act like you came up with what your using, you know?
I've seen your mixes, and their fucking spot on, man...
Me & Jean Moustache are working on a song sampling this with the same title, Midnight Fantasy... We would LOVE it, if you could remix our song when we're done with it... If you have MSN, I could email you or even PM you when your on...
Cool...it´s very hard to find REAL DiscoMusic made on the 80s (though lotsa songs claim to be, they´re, basically high-energy dance tunes counting with lots of ELECTRONIC arrangements, which make them not real Disco per se)...this one is pure Disco!
This song would have fit in very well on Black radio during the early 1980's. It still sounds fabulous! What a lovely song! The lead singer really helped bring this even more alive! Thank you for posting it!
One the better tracks off the album. I love the funky bass line which carries the track along with the vocal. Nice one. Thanks for sharing this track.

I think is one of the best tracks of the album - really funky disco. The lead singer sounds a bit like Stephanie Mills. Thanks for posting!
