Man, I can only say this: "Being the worst just means the competition is better than you, it doesn't mean you're bad."
And, I've never played any of the BB games, and haven't played many fighting games aside from HTS ever, but I like the genre, and I've seen many, many videos, BB included, even I can see through pure observation how low tier Tager is.

This isn't really all that surprising since all Rachel had to do was press 2C after the super flash and she would've interrupted the Genesic. Although Tager may be bottom tier in CT, you will get crushed if you don't know how to play.

@Saturi Not every character has to come to him. Characters like Hazama, Lambda and Mu can just throw projectiles at him all day and he will never in on someone who knows how to play. Other characters like Makoto and Carl can keep him in airtight blockstrings so that he never gets a chance to move, or he risks getting frame trapped. Finally, you have characters like Platinum and Litchi that can just space him out all day with their long range normals.
@Bmeister42 regardless, no one can deal high damage with projectiles alone. Hazama has a chain the deals crap damage as a projectile alone, that is for openings into combos, and minor combo extenders. The fact that you even listed Hazama as projectile character is ground enough to end this conversation.Next to ragna is the most melee based fighter in the game. any character can space with long range normals including ragna, that doesn't ganruntee you won't get grabbed. Tager has projectiles too
@Saturi Hazama is a zoning/spacing character who plays a mid range game. I played him extensively in CS1, I think I know what I'm talking about.
Landing a CH projectile with Hazama, Lambda, Nu, Arakune, Platinum, and some others can lead into full combos, so yes, you CAN do a lot of damage off projectiles alone. Not to mention, if he spends the entire round eating 500-1000 off raw projectiles without catching you, the overall damage doesn't matter anyways, because he's still going to lose.
@Saturi Yes, Tager has sparkbolt, but it's on a timer which makes it incredibly predictable. All you have to do is avoid whiffing something and be a little safer, and suddenly sparkbolt doesn't make a difference.
You also helped me prove my point with your little Ragna example. Literally everyone can space Tager out because of his slow normals, even a rushdown character like Ragna, and yes it does guarantee you won't get grabbed because you won't be standing next to him in that case.

Your proving my point that projectiles are used for combo openings, before you said they could stay back and shoot projectiles all day, now your pretty much agreeing to what i said before. Regardless you have to step into his grab range, and bro you swear to god if you space perfectly you won't get grabbed no one is perfect. Even kaqn the best ragna ( alot agree) in the world still gets grabbed by tagers.
@Saturi When you land a projectile with a lot of characters (Especially the afformentioned ones), they have enough hitstun to lead into a followup combo at no risk, which is what I meant. If you're spacing/zoning correctly, you should never be within his command grab range. The only time you will ever be there is if you make a mistake.
You do know that Kaqn is well known because he styles on people right? He goes for risky shit all the time, that's why he gets grabbed occasionally.

Tager is near impossible to gaurdbreak, his grabs deal a ton of a damage, his magnetic powers make up for his movement disability. And he has decent projectiles, bro you can't sit here and tell me you perfect competitive tager constantly. Stop down playing tager, he is far from useless.
@Saturi He does have tools, yes. The problem is that they don't outweigh his cons at all. He has a huge hitbox, which makes him easier to combo/pressure and opens him up to instant overheads. He's slow, so everyone can just keep him out and CH any attempt he makes at starting something. His damage is really, really crappy, most characters can easily break 3500 meterless in the corner, and a lot can even hit 6k+ with meter there, and it's a lot easier to land than a slow short ranged throw.
@Saturi Magnetism doesn't help his lack of mobility at all. I used to think that 3 years ago when CT had just come out, but after dealing with it for so long, it's just laughable. There are a ton of ways around it, some even as simple as just sitting on down back and IADing backwards when you predict a throw. You can always just keep pressure on him during the few seconds of magnetism too.

Sure, I'm not technically "pro", but I've won nearly every local BB tournament we've had in my city since I got into the scene, and I was rank 5 with Rachel back in CT (Back when BB had good netcode), so I'd say that I at least know what I'm talking about.

@Saturi Except you're retarded for thinking lambda's Projectiles won't give you enough hitstun to safely enter a close rage. 236D(C) is excellent for achieving just that, because this hitstun is long enough for you to use 236C, and do the Sword summoner follow up, yes, you need to get in melee range, but Tager is too busy getting hit to do shit about it. And don't tell me I can't do something I've done about fifty fucking times. One (outdated) combo video doesn't mean that no other combos exist.

@Saturi Except they can throw projectiles all day, keeping themselves 100% safe to go in for mixups, and retreating to throw more projectiles if Tager ever gets to move (he usually doesn't).
I didn't think I would have to explain such a basic principle of the fighting game genre.
And once again, all of those characters (along with most characters with projectiles) can easily convert their projectiles into free combos on CH or with meter.

It's not just my opinion, it's pretty much every serious competitive player's collective opinion. People who spend hours play testing match after match in order to get a good feel for how well characters stack up against one another.

And what the hell does getting bodied mean? Yamura is good, but those vids are really old as hell bro. They are not even CS. Yamura has gotton so much better since then, and not mention tager got better in CS aswell. I would see your point if I posted a BB video too, but I didnt. Overall I get the gist of what you say.
@Saturi The point is, the videos you show of tager winning matter just as much as me showing vids of him losing. Which is not much. I can find footage of people winning OR losing with bottom tier, worst in game status chars in pretty much any game (BLEED wins tourneys with johnny, kuni beasts with geif in SF2, etc.)
That doesn't change how bad the character is in correlation with the rest of the characters in the game. Tager's the worst in Blazblue. Not unusable. But still the worst.

Tiers are pretty close in BB anyway. Worst in game in BB isn't nearly as bad as being the worst in a MvC or Street fighter game.

You have to be careful when fighting tager, but so long as you're careful (read:Know not to get into instant death range without hitstun) he has trouble fighting back. and you're opinion is largely accepted as Kinda dumb. He's still right about tager being worst in game, and being overall less threatening than other characters (makoto, hazama, etc.). Tager's not free, but he's pretty close sometimes. Hopefully in BB CS: extend he gets what he needs to be more threatening.

Pro tagers are the only people who CAN use tager effectively. everyone else just ends up losing to anyone who knows what they're doing.

I could go on and on about what makes tager worst in game, but there isn't enough space. The important thing is tager is still a tourney viable character, even though he's the worst in the game. Most of his matchups are only against him 6-4, which isn't terrible.
@Saturi Tager doesn't have the "strongest attacks". He usually gets less of a payoff from his combos (which are harder to land because of his slow speed) than other characters. If you think otherwise, you don't know the game very well.

Yes, Tager's 720 is the "strongest" move in the game, except you can't combo into it and it's difficult to land. Other characters can turn random jabs/pokes/throws into 5600+ damage for 50 heat all while BUILDING meter and it's easier to land those initial hits.

Yes I did watch the video. I saw Tager getting locked down for 2 rounds straight, and Kaqn guessing wrong 3 times in round 3. Any character can do that.

@Saturi Not every character has to come to him. Characters like Hazama, Lambda and Mu can just throw projectiles at him all day and he will never in on someone who knows how to play. Other characters like Makoto and Carl can keep him in airtight blockstrings so that he never gets a chance to move, or he risks getting frame trapped. Finally, you have characters like Platinum and Litchi that can just space him out all day with their long range normals.

Hazama has a chain the deals crap damage as a projectile alone, that is for openings into combos, and minor combo extenders. The fact that you even listed Hazama as projectile character is ground enough to end this conversation.Next to ragna is the most melee based fighter in the game. any character can space with long range normals including ragna, that doesn't ganruntee you won't get grabbed. @Saturi Hazama is a zoning/spacing character who plays a mid range game. I played him extensively in CS1, I think I know what I'm talking about.
Landing a CH projectile with Hazama, Lambda, Nu, Arakune, Platinum, and some others can lead into full combos, so yes, you CAN do a lot of damage off projectiles alone. Not to mention, if he spends the entire round eating 500-1000 off raw projectiles without catching you, the overall damage doesn't matter anyways, because he's still going to lose.

@Saturi Yes, Tager has sparkbolt, but it's on a timer which makes it incredibly predictable. All you have to do is avoid whiffing something and be a little safer, and suddenly sparkbolt doesn't make a difference.
You also helped me prove my point with your little Ragna example. Literally everyone can space Tager out because of his slow normals, even a rushdown character like Ragna, and yes it does guarantee you won't get grabbed because you won't be standing next to him in that case.

@Saturi When you land a projectile with a lot of characters (Especially the afformentioned ones), they have enough hitstun to lead into a followup combo at no risk, which is what I meant. If you're spacing/zoning correctly, you should never be within his command grab range. The only time you will ever be there is if you make a mistake.
You do know that Kaqn is well known because he styles on people right? He goes for risky shit all the time, that's why he gets grabbed occasionally.

@Saturi He does have tools, yes. The problem is that they don't outweigh his cons at all. He has a huge hitbox, which makes him easier to combo/pressure and opens him up to instant overheads. He's slow, so everyone can just keep him out and CH any attempt he makes at starting something. His damage is really, really crappy, most characters can easily break 3500 meterless in the corner, and a lot can even hit 6k+ with meter there, and it's a lot easier to land than a slow short ranged throw.

@Saturi Magnetism doesn't help his lack of mobility at all. I used to think that 3 years ago when CT had just come out, but after dealing with it for so long, it's just laughable. There are a ton of ways around it, some even as simple as just sitting on down back and IADing backwards when you predict a throw. You can always just keep pressure on him during the few seconds of magnetism too.

@Saturi Except you're retarded for thinking lambda's Projectiles won't give you enough hitstun to safely enter a close rage. 236D(C) is excellent for achieving just that, because this hitstun is long enough for you to use 236C, and do the Sword summoner follow up, yes, you need to get in melee range, but Tager is too busy getting hit to do shit about it. And don't tell me I can't do something I've done about fifty fucking times. One (outdated) combo video doesn't mean that no other combos exist.

@Saturi Except they can throw projectiles all day, keeping themselves 100% safe to go in for mixups, and retreating to throw more projectiles if Tager ever gets to move (he usually doesn't).
I didn't think I would have to explain such a basic principle of the fighting game genre.
And once again, all of those characters (along with most characters with projectiles) can easily convert their projectiles into free combos on CH or with meter.

There are plenty of situations that are 100% safe. Linking me to a 2 year old video of someone playing as a sub character doesn't show anything.
Tager can't do anything another character can't do better.

I never said it was a good way to fight tager, I use My sword summoners to create openings for me to go in, and then get tager in a combo, then knock him away with TK crecsent, then was, rinse repeat. but apparently, you are nitpicky little bastard who thinks that tager's instant death radius is worth shit when he's locked in hitstun. I'm not reatrded though. This is simply amusing to me.

He doesn't have to block every attack either, he has moves that goes through projectiles and he will use them and instant block whenever he has the chance too. i bet your lamda isn't that good. And what the hell does getting bodied mean? Yamura is good, but those vids are really old as hell bro. They are not even CS. Yamura has gotton so much better since then, and not mention tager got better in CS aswell. I would see your point if I posted a BB video too, but I didnt. Overall I get the gist of what you say.

@Saturi The point is, the videos you show of tager winning matter just as much as me showing vids of him losing. Which is not much. I can find footage of people winning OR losing with bottom tier, worst in game status chars in pretty much any game (BLEED wins tourneys with johnny, kuni beasts with geif in SF2, etc.)
That doesn't change how bad the character is in correlation with the rest of the characters in the game. Tager's the worst in Blazblue. Not unusable. But still the worst.

Tiers are pretty close in BB anyway. Worst in game in BB isn't nearly as bad as being the worst in a MvC or Street fighter game.

You have to be careful when fighting tager, but so long as you're careful (read:Know not to get into instant death range without hitstun) he has trouble fighting back. and you're opinion is largely accepted as Kinda dumb. Notice how like 4(5?) people have risen up to disagree with you on this? while one kid who's over-exaggerating the strength of magnets helps you.

He's still right about tager being worst in game, and being overall less threatening than other characters (makoto, hazama, etc.). Tager's not free, but he's pretty close sometimes. Hopefully in BB CS: extend he gets what he needs to be more threatening.

I could go on and on about what makes tager worst in game, but there isn't enough space. The important thing is tager is still a tourney viable character, even though he's the worst in the game. Most of his matchups are only against him 6-4, which isn't terrible.

@Saturi Tager is pretty freaking useless and Lambda CAN throw projectiles at him all day. Yes, Tager's 720 is the "strongest" move in the game, except you can't combo into it and it's difficult to land. Other characters can turn random jabs/pokes/throws into 5600+ damage for 50 heat all while BUILDING meter and it's easier to land those initial hits.
You really don't sound very knowledgeable about this game or competitive fighters in general, so I don't know why you're still arguing about this.

@Saturi What's the difference? Zero and Dante have shitty low damage on most of their moves in MvC3, yet they manage to 100% people off of everything because of their comboability. Combo potential>damage output, and Tager is severely lacking in the combo department.
Yes I did watch the video. I saw Tager getting locked down for 2 rounds straight, and Kaqn guessing wrong 3 times in round 3. Any character can do that.
Also, I like how you're attacking me and you've likely never seen me play.

@Saturi OMG Tager being strong? tell that to hazama...Tager is the WORST character in BB, yes he has 2 very stong moves (Genesic Emerald Tager Buster and Gigantic tager buster) but to escape those one only have to jump and they'll miss entirely, tage can'tcome close fast without A: the ennemy being magntized and him doing a drive move or 6A wich is easy counters, B: Sledgge hammer easy to bait and punish or 2D again easy to punish... you don't know a lot of the game do you?

@Saturi first of all, hakumen as the strongest attack in the game (attacks that do not requires heat to uses) any C attacks of hakumen is better than any of tagers attack besides DD or command grab, plus hakumen can dash, has a very long air dash, he can slash projectiles to creat a void where projectiles can't pass, couter attack and his heat builds on time, plus he's got the second highest life in the game. secon YOU agreed on that not everyone... Yes with tager you can take 4k hp without heat with only a move granted, but hazama can do 6.5k with a combo without heat, you add the 50% heat factor it jumps to 8.5k while tager's DD don't have any combo possible besides terra break for Magna tech wheel and even then it does laughable damage compared to everyone else's combo, his combos deal laughable damage too (4k when the opponent is magnetize) he IS weak, no wonder he is D tier...

@Saturi lol of course his distorsion does more damage thant any of haku's attack XD they're DD, Hazama's DD too does more damage than any of haku's attack... so does everyone's distorsion...... yes Tager does have the one most damaging attack w/o heat in GTB, but it's predictable, easily avoidable and difficult to land. if you talk about the normals, and special beside that one move, every of hakumen's attack does more damage, plus he can do combos that does massive damage unlike tager...

@Saturi yes that exists, ever learn of DD used in combos? it's funny but I can assure you 100% of the time I use Mizuchi in combo it cannot be avoided, and like I said it's that attack only that is stronger than haku's attack, and it's not really the most used attack of tager anyway, nor is it reliable often... and what makes a character strong in BB? COMBOS why is makoto top tier when she does low damage, have so little range? because she got very high comboablity you must not be good in BB...

@Saturi lol use Magna tech wheel in a combo: max 5k damage, use Genesic emerald tafer Buster in a combo, the other can simply tech your grab thanks to the 27 frames to tech combo-grabs... use anyone elses DD in combo =min damage 5.5k... are you even trying to make argumants or your just trolling around seriously? EVERYONE is calling Tager the weakest BB character since BBCT and he will always stays the weakest... i'm not making this up... ask anyone esle XD

@Saturi LOL do you even believe what you say? taget being weak is a FACT not an opinion, so was potemkin in GG, he was and will always be near useless... no matter if he does 4000 damage or 5000 damage, what matters is the even when using heat, his combos are as strong as the lowest damaging ones of other char w/o heat XD, and when char like hazama get like a 2k upgrade with heat Tager gets MAX 1000, plus the huge hitbox he has makes him weak to every possible combo, unlike carl, plat etc...

You say one thing and swear to god your right, and then when your wrong you go back bringing up random what if situations. stfu man, your stupid. tager only has to get 6 or 5 hits to get big damage, other characters have to 10 to 15 hits to even match, allowing more room for error.

@Saturi except,I do sub tager and on the 5-6 hits he has, I do more mistakes than on the 15-20 hits hazama does.. it all depends on timing, and Atomic Collider is nothingbut timing, should you hold C too long the opponent can recover, not enough, you won't hit it, you have to hold it correctly, this is what's hard, Hazama's timing are tricky at first but rapidly become easy, and where were you when everyone said comboability>rough damage? in BB what makes something strong is the ability to combo

@Saturi Because you think Tager isn't Bottom tier. which unless you're still playing CS1, Back when Rachel was absolute garbage, in which case, tager is second to last.
Consistently, Tager has been rated as having the worst match ups in the game, only getting one neutral match, and that's against himself.

@Saturi in case you don't know here's how they calculate tier: on all the match played in Arcade, PSN and Xbox Live, who won the most between say Tager and Makoto then they put that number out of 10 wich , then they do that for all the matchups possible and do a math and then they place the numbers in order the highest to the top, the lowest to the bottom, SO what tiers means, is that the highes has an easier way winning than the lowest, thus why higher tier char are stronger than tager who is C
